Please Come Forward Collectively :High Commissioner

Dear Pakistani-Kiwi Community Members!

I need not to emphasise, that the Christchurch earthquake calamity is the “worst tragedy” of New Zealand. At these challenging times, the New Zealand as a country and a society is overwhelmed with the devastation this catastrophe has brought about.

I am aware that the Community members in their individual capacity are doing all what they can to assist the Christchurch community and families to recover from this disaster.

I would request and urge all the community members to please come forward collectively to share the woes of the affected people and provide a much needed helping hand. The two best possible ways could be to contribute generously in earthquake fund and volunteer your time to help your neighbours, community and especially, infirm, who need assistance the most in these trying times.

It is time for all of us to come together and assist the people who need the help the most.  I would once again urge the Christchurch community members to please be a part of the volunteering and get counted.

Yours sincerely,

(Syed Ibne Abbas)

A Email From PANZ.

Dear All,

Radio apna  had a Radiothon for christchurch appeal for 28 hours and have raised 150,000dollars

*Pakistan Association was part of it and I personally was present in the studio appealling
for the fund raising. The response from the Pakistan community was poor however we on behalf of the Executives
of the Association donated $2000 cash to the fund.because Apna 990 had done a great job for Pakistan.

Our donation was highly appreciated by the callers and the station management. People who have never paid
the membership fee of PANZ must keep their mouths shut although 'Barking Dogs seldo bite'

Thanks

Who care?

 Who care?

People who care about other do their best to do good for those who are in need. We all are reading, watching, listening and feeling the pain of who trapped in rubbles in Christ Church. Everyone is doing everything in his or her capacity. We received text message that due to earthquake all digital communication has been disabled and only copper wire telephones are working. We forward this text to about 250 peoples.

Another text came from member Parliament Dr. Ch. Ashraf . With an idea of early Blood Blati. Idea was good. But it wasn’t easy to do Blood Balti in this short notice. To meet the demand of emergency we have to take emergency measures. I talked with Blood Balti committee after brief conversation we came to point that we can do it next weak Tuesday.  Now, only thing left.  coordinate with Blood Bank. I rang Blood Bank ask them if we can do blood Balti with in weak time.  They thanked me for offer and said due to good response from public we are alright with demand of blood.

Everybody is doing best but Pakistan Association of NZ is still in snooze,  a few words of sympathy can show that we are alive and this part of society.  But it seems PANZ have adapted the policy of who care?

Message from Dr. Ashraf Choudhary QSO

AH PAKISTAN

“Pakistanis are poor but Pakistan is not a poor country”, says one of the Swiss Bank Directors.   He says that “28 trillions (28,000,000,000,000) of Pak Rupees are deposited in Swiss Banks which can be used for:

*     “tax free” budgets for 30 years.

*     Can give 6o million jobs to all Pakistan .

*     Constructing 4 lane roads from any village to  Islamabad .

*     Ensure forever free supply to more than 500 social projects.

*     Financial Assistance of Rs. 20,000 per month to every citizen for 60 years.

*     Disbanding the need of World Bank and IMF loans.

Think how our money is stolen and blocked by rich corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.   We have full right against these corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.

Don’t ignore and forgive corruption at any level in our country.

Iss message koe itna forward karo kay poora PAKISTAN  parhay aur jaag utthay.

Please take it seriously.   If you can forward jokes, then why not this?   Be a responsible citizen.

Blood Balti 2011

Why Mr. Bhatti?

Year 2004 , short of funds , sitting on sofa thinking how Blood Balti will happen , many generous our community came in my mind , something was stopping me going to them(maybe my vanity) right on that moment phone bell ring , other side it is Mr. Bhatti from OZ, after initial greeting he asked me "what happened to Blood Balti this year. I shared my thinking with. I told him that I want to advertise on Sohni Dharti for "A SPONSOR" but I am afraid that if no one will come forward, then I may not be able to afford it. Mr. Bhatti said “how much do you need for Blood Balti"

I never thought that a man who has left NZ. Living in OZ., will have this much interest in Blood Balti , and remember it ( OZ life style don’t allow people to think about community work)
"I stood enthralled, astonished by the vastness of Mr. Bhatti reply , he said “consider it is done, you will get funds for Blood Balti on your door steps and let me know , I will come to attend and donate on Blood Balti” and he did it.
God bless those who share HIS blessing with others, selflessly.
We are very few, we cannot change the world, but we are sure receiving end of blood come through Blood Balti will play a great role in well being of those who will receive it and Mohammad Yaqoob Bhatti is great part of it.
God bless you Mr. Bhatti. Sohni Dharti wishes you health and happiness.
This year Blood Balti 2011 Mr. Bhatti said “nothing should be left out, just because we did not have enough funds"Mr. Bhatti is sole sponser of Blood Balti 2011 as he was for 2010.
