Collaboration

Its great to note that PANZ will be holding elections this year, but I believe it is time to change and be more collaborative and inclusive and set an example as role models for the future.

I propose that any panel which comes forward and it should not be made up of family members, should now have co-leadership. There should be two presidents a male and a female member of the community. In addition to other office holders on the panel there should be two Youth Representatives a male and a female. Only then will it be a panel which represents the whole community.

Kind regards,

Uzra Casuri Balouch

Gratitude

My Dear Friends,

The present team of  PANZ has completed its term in the office and i must thank them for their hard work during the last two years.
It has been an honour to work with them. I am very impressed by their enthusiasm and devotion to the motherland. All of the six executives gave their best
and contributed monitarily as well as morally . They gave lot of their time to.  the cause. I will be writing an individual leetter of thanks to them.

I have decided not to seek another term due to my health and age. I want a young leadership to come forward and take over the work I started 23 years ago
as a founder member and President for 12 years. It is a hard task you have to represent the Pakistan community to the govt and other organisations in a proper way and must have the required skills  to do t.hat.

I also submit myself to anybody who was hurt by our decisions whcih they did not like but I assure you that we had no personal interest involved in any decision and was always in the interest of Pakistan. I sincerely ask for your forgiveness.

Pakistan is a great country and there are ups and downs in every nations history so we are going through a rough patch but I have my Iman that Pakistan will come out with flying colours.

I must also express my profound gratitude to Honourable Phil Geoff,Honourable Bakhshi  and His Excellency Ibne Abbas for their support, help and  special assistance at all times

So Elections will be held soon and I will be able to finally put my feet up and enjoy the rain and shine of New Zealand but will always be with you with my best wishes.

with kindest regards,

We indulge in Fikr (thought) and Dhikr (remembrance) and what it means to be a follower of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).

ISAMIC FRAUD

Sri Lanka 'expels 161 foreign Muslim clerics'

Muslim men pray in a mosque in Sri Lanka. File photo Muslims make up about 9% of Sri Lanka's population, and are regarded as a separate ethnic group

Related Stories

Sri Lanka has reportedly ordered 161 foreign Muslim preachers to leave the country for flouting visa regulations.

A senior immigration official was quoted as saying that the clerics had no right to preach in mosques because they had arrived on tourist visas.

He also said that some local Muslims had complained that the visitors were not teaching a moderate form of Islam.

The preachers - from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, the Maldives and Arab nations - must now leave by 31 January.

'Laughable idea'

"They have violated immigration laws. A tourist visa is to have a holiday or visit friends and family, and not to preach Islam," Sri Lanka's immigration head Chulananda Perera told the AFP news agency.

Mr Perera said the group belonged to Tablighi Jamaat - an international Islamic movement popular in Sri Lanka and the region.

A Muslim source told the BBC that the movement sends groups of preachers to places of worship, urging Muslims to devote more time to their faith and act more devoutly.

Any idea that they were militant was laughable, the source added.

Muslim members of Sri Lanka's government have expressed concern at the mass expulsion, and are expected to meet other officials later on Monday to try to delay the move.

The news has also created consternation in the Muslim community in Sri Lanka, the third largest ethnic group in the country after Sinhalese and Tamils, the BBC's Charles Haviland in Colombo reports.

During the long civil war the community was often caught between the two warring parties and it has a reputation for moderation, our correspondent adds.

Thanks

Today 10 Jan 2012 on Blood Balti day more then 150 people walked in to enjoy a colorful day with BBQ and music, for a great cause of humanity, 64 have made blood Bank. It was good Party with massive Nonstop BBQ marathon and lives cooking on spot. Sohni Dharti thanks to all who came with families and kids we believe in future these kids would the custodian of Blood Balti.

Our hearty thanks to our young man Sheheryar Moon for his dedication to Blood Balti by doing all photography and videos. Plus inviting his friends from Avondale collage. He truly deserved the MAN OF DAY award. Although we cannot offer him worldly reward “good deed need no reward , as it is a reward itself’ Guru Granth

Party stared at 12pm,

On cooking side Haji Mumtaz and Raja Neeam Alam did excellent job, they made Bariani and Balti Chicken on the spot which appreciated by all.

A double up thanks to Mr. Bhatti and his family for making this Blood Balti so colorful, a special thanks to Mr. Bhatti’s daughter, Hina who preached Blood Balti among her friends and persuade to come to Blood Balti . I would like to quote from Quran “One life saved means humanity”

About Mr. Bhatti, we have already said and we say it again he is Back Bone people of Blood Balti. From opening of Blood Bal

ti 2012 to closing of Blood Balti he is enduring all the expenses of Blood Balti 2012. My hat goes off when I think of Mr. Bhatti’s saying “if I am blessed by ALLMIGHTY, I would like to share HIS blessing with HIS people”

Left Mr Bhatti and Scot of Blood Bank are celebrating Blood Balti 2012

Few years back. While taking needle out of my arm, nurse said “another life saved”. How does it feel? No dictionary can explain it. You have to donate blood to feel that feeling.

Two non Muslim girls clad in burqa were arrested by the POLICE

http://www.siasat.com/files/imagecache/Body_image_118x111/english/call+girls+arrested.gif

Bhainsa, January 3: Two non Muslim girls clad in burqa were arrested by the police. It was found that the two call girls had reached Bhainsa on the order of man on the occasion of New Year celebration. The call girls by using the burqa tried to defame Muslim society but the Muslim youth unveiled the truth getting clue from their conversation and manner.

According to details two girls boarded a car from Nizamabad to go to Bhainsa. The girls were wearing burqa. As the car proceeded for Bhainsa the girls started talking in Bengali and started using cigarette and other items. Car driver who was a Muslim suspected that the girls have arrived Bhainsa for debauched activities. So instead of taking them to their destination he brought them to police station where a large number of Muslim youth gathered and asked them the truth.

They told that they had come here for flesh business. The Muslim youth lost control over this answer and expressed deep anger over using burqa and defaming the Muslim society.

Well done Sohni Dharti

Hi BillaG,

Once again an amazing turnout from Sohni Dharti with 64 people coming through our doors!Thank you and everyone else who helped out.

The people associated to Sohni Dharti continue to astound me with their tremendous kindness and spirit of giving. They devote their time, energy and (for some) money to help us obtain our goal of supplying sick New Zealanders with the blood they need. While we do ask for their time in order to get blood from them, we do not expect anyone to part with their money, as much time and expend that amount of energy. For that we here at NZ Blood Service are truly grateful and privileged to have such a generous group of donors.  The staff have been raving about the food that you put on and I know the donors, not associated to you, were beaming with smiles after enjoying the banquet you provided. Thank you for a fantastic, fun afternoon and evening with lovely, giving people.Thank you and your group for giving blood

Thank you for your support - long may it continue. Kind Regards,  Scott SinclairDonor Recruiter - New Zealand Blood Servicet: 09 523 5759 f: 09 523 5746 m: 027 566 329871 Great South Road, Epsom, Auckland 1023

MOSQUE DEMOLITION

China unrest over mosque demolition in Ningxia

ma

Related Stories

Reports from the Ningxia region of northern China say hundreds of Muslim villagers have fought with riot police who tore down a mosque.

Hong Kong-based human rights monitors said the trouble erupted on Friday after police declared the mosque an illegal structure.

The monitors say 50 people were injured and more than 100 detained.

Chinese officials confirmed a mosque was pulled down. They said there were injuries and some people were detained.

Reports of the incident have only just emerged. The details remain sketchy and accounts of the scale of the trouble vary.

The incident is said to have taken place in Taoshan village, near the town of Hexi in Tongxin county of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, a sparsely-populated semi-desert area in northern China.

A party official in Ningxia told the BBC that the mosque in Hexi was an illegal structure, so they knocked it down.

According to the Hong Kong Information Center for Human Rights and Democracy (ICHRD) about 1,000 police officers clashed with villagers when they arrived to demolish a newly-renovated mosque.

But a policeman who only gave the name Ma, told AFP new agency: "Two police officers and two villagers got injured and several villagers were taken away by the police, but I don't know how many."

The Hui ethnic group - who mostly inhabit the region - are one of a number of Muslim minority groups in China.

In 2009, riots erupted in western Xinjiang province when nearly 200 people died after tensions flared between Muslim Uighurs and Han Chinese.
