In connection with birth day celebrations of Quaid-e-Azam, Pakistan Association of New Zealand has decided to hold the following competitions. The last day of submitting your stuff along with personal details is 15/01/03.You can send your answers, drawings and essays by emails, post or fax at PANZ numbers given above. Prize distribution for this competition will be held in February (Eid Mela) and submissions of the participants would be displayed publicly.

Quiz Competition   (For school going lot until Form 4)

  1. Where was Quaid-e-Azam born?
  2. From where did Quaid get his early education?
  3. What was the profession of Quaid?
  4. What was the name of Quaid`s wife?
  5. What was the name of Quaid`s famous sister?
  6. What is the famous motto of Quaid?
  7. What illness of Quaid (that cost him life at the end) was not publicized?
  8. Where did he spend his last days?
  9. When and where did Quaid die?
  10. What is the name of famous international movie made about Quaid`s life few years back?

Drawing Competetion:  (For school going lot until Form 7)

Draw an image of Quaid with help of pencil or brush and win great prizes. Use artistic sense and hands and your drawn sketch may get the top slot. No professional touch is required, make an effort and this would be valued highly. Quaid photos are available on the net (use site links given at the bottom) and you may download one of your choice. Alternatively you can contact PANZ for further help.

Essay Competition:  (Open to every body)

Any Pakistani can participate regardless of age and sex in Essay Competition. Competition is open for both Urdu and English and prizes would be announced separately for both the languages. The topic of the essay is

  • Quaid-e-Azam—The Founder of Pakistan    (English Language)
  • Millat Kaa Paasban Hay Mohammad Ali Jinnah (Urdu language)
