Report silent on what hit Benazir’s head

ISLAMABAD: The seven-member medical team that examined former premier Benazir Bhutto at Rawalpindi General Hospital on December 27, submitted its report to the Interior Ministry, making no mention of what exactly hit the head of the former prime minister. A 3-page medical report, a copy of which is available with Daily Times, stated that an open-head injury with depressed skull fracture caused a cardiopulmonary arrest. The Interior Ministry had claimed that Benazir suffered a head injury after hitting the lever of her vehicle’s sunroof. The report read, “Benazir was pulse-less and was not breathing when she was brought to the hospital. Her pupils were fixed dilated and non-reacting to light. A wound was present on the right temporo-parietal region through which blood was trickling down and a whitish material, which looked like brain matter was visible in the wound.”It said that cardiopulmonary resuscitation was given as soon as Benazir was brought to the hospital. azaz syed

Demand for Rawalpindi tragedy probe by int’l agencies rejected

ISLAMABAD: The interior ministry has turned down the demand for holding investigations into the murder of Benazir by the international agencies. Interior ministry spokesman, Brigadier ® Javed Iqbal Cheema in a press briefing here said that if the PPP leadership so desires, then by retrieving Benazir’s body from the grave, postmortem could be arranged. He said that the government had presented its views on the murder of Benazir and if Sherry Rahman claims that Benazir died of gunshot; then government would have no hesitation in acceding to conducting postmortem by retrieving Benazir’s body from the grave, if PPP leadership so desires. Replying to a question, interior ministry spokesman told that besides Nawaz Sharif, Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi, Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Aftab Sherpao and Sheikh Rashid were also on the hit list of the terrorists. Brigadier ® Javed Iqbal Cheema said that the two-day riots caused losses in billions of rupees. Besides, 38 innocent people lost their lives and 53 were wounded, while 174 banks, 34 petrol pumps, 157 offices, 370 vehicles, 72 train bogies and 18 railway stations were torched or looted. Following the call for army, the situation would come under control in one/two days. He said that those looting the banks were not the supporters of Benazir and added that they were miscreants. Brigadier Javed Iqbal Cheema said that the foreign investigators could not work in our environment by coming here. Replying to another question, he said that the two murder attempts were made on President Pervez Musharraf, while the intelligence agencies had foiled seven attacks before it could take place.

US warned BB weeks before fatal attack: report

By Our Correspondent

WASHINGTON, Dec 29: The Bush administration had warned former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, weeks before her assassination, that extremists were trying to kill her, the Los Angeles Times reported on Saturday.

The report, however, claimed that the Pakistani government rebuffed US entreaties for beefed-up security for Ms Bhutto. “The decision to provide intelligence to an opposition candidate in a country headed by a strong American ally reflects US recognition of the gravity of the threat Bhutto faced,” the report said.

The newspaper also noted that Washington backed her effort to reclaim power in Pakistan because it saw her as a stabilising influence in the turbulent country.

Although acknowledging the danger, US officials stopped short of providing direct security services, such as the private contractors they arranged for Afghan President Hamid Karzai and for top leaders in Iraq, the report added.

The intelligence shared with Ms Bhutto was furnished by the US Embassy in Islamabad, a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity told the paper. Along with information about possible threats to her, the Americans provided security advice on ways her risks could be reduced.

The US official said the Americans were aware that Ms Bhutto faced serious dangers, especially in light of an earlier attempt on her life, a bombing during her homecoming rally in Karachi on Oct 18, in which more than 140 people were killed.

Americans also “reiterated” that the Musharraf government needed to make vigorous attempts to avert dangers to her, the official said.

Railways suffer Rs 10bn loss in two days

By Aamir Yasin

RAWALPINDI: Since assassination of Benazir Bhutto on Thursday, the Pakistan Railways (PR) has suffered Rs 10 billion loss, as angry mobs have set on fire several railways stations, trains and other railway equipments. The Pakistan Railways was expected to restore Sindh-bound train service from Monday, which was suspended on Friday. Two Karachi-bound trains from Peshawar were stranded at Rawalpindi Railways Station after suspension of train service to Sindh. Caretaker Federal Minister for Railways Mansoor Tariq told Daily Times on Saturday the annual budget of the PR was Rs12 billion and it had suffered a loss of Rs 10 billion during last two days. “It will take time to revive PR completely,” he added. According to the PR sources, it is impossible to restore railway traffic in Sindh soon as the angry mobs have damaged 63 railways stations, 149 bogies, 29 locomotives, VHF Tower between Sukkur and Rohri have been damaged and taken away 27 block instruments in some areas. However, Tariq said the trains were running as per schedule between Lahore and Rawalpindi, Lahore and Faisalabad and Lahore and Multan. He said the ministry had requested President Pervez Musharraf to release more funds to overcome the huge loss suffered by Pakistan Railways. “The railway authorities are also in contact with the district administrations, rangers and army for the security of railway installations and properties. Rangers have been called in to assist the railways police in provision of secure and comfortable travelling facilities to the people,” he said.

Book of condolences open at Pakistan High Commission

Book of condolences open at Pakistan High Commission

A book of condolences for the people of Pakistan after the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto will open tomorrow at the High Commission for Pakistan in Wellington.

Acting Wellington Mayor Ian McKinnon will sign the book tomorrow morning -- and is urging others to do the same.

"We have all been appalled by the gross act of cowardice that has taken the life of Ms Bhutto," said Mr McKinnon.

"This was also a cowardly act against the people of Pakistan, including members of the Pakistan community in Wellington and New Zealand, and against democracy itself."

He said signing the book of condolences would be a way of showing support for the people of Pakistan -- and for New Zealand's Pakistani community -- "in these trying times".

The High Commission for Pakistan, at 182 Onslow Road, Khandallah, will be open between 10am and 5pm tomorrow.

Mrs Bhutto was killed in a suicide attack on Thursday. The attack has unleashed a maelstrom of anger among her supporters and three days of unrest in Pakistan have left more than 40 people dead and millions of dollars in damage.

Storie for Kids

Only for Allah
There was a pious man among the Banu Israel who always remained busy in the worship of Allah. A group of people came to him and told him that a tribe living nearby worshipped a tree. The news upset him, and with an axe on his shoulder he went to cut down that tree. On the way, Satan met him in the form of an old man and asked him where he was going. He said he was going to cut a particular tree. Satan said, "You have nothing to be concerned with this tree, you better mind your worship and do not give it up for the sake of something that does not concern you." "This is also worship," retorted the worshipper. Then Satan tried to prevent him from cutting the tree, and there followed a fight between the two, in which the worshipper overpowered the Satan. Finding himself completely helpless, Satan begged to be excused, and when the worshipper released him, he again said, "Allah has not made the cutting of this tree obligatory on you. You do not lose anything if you do not cut it. If its cutting were necessary, Allah could have got it done through one of his many Prophets." The worshipper insisted on cutting the tree. There was again a fight between the two and again the worshipper overpowered the Satan. "Well listen," said Satan, "I propose a settlement that will be to your advantage." The worshipper agreed, and Satan said, "You are a poor man, a mere burden on this earth. If you stay away from this act, I will pay you three gold coins everyday. You will daily find them lying under your pillow. By this money you can fulfil your own needs, can oblige your relative, help the needy, and do so many other virtuous things. Cutting the tree will be only one virtue, which will ultimately be of no use because the people will grow another tree." This proposal appealed to the worshipper, and he accepted it. He found the money on two successive days, but on the third day there was nothing. He got enraged, picked up his axe and went to cut the tree. Satan as an old man again met him on the way and asked him where he was going. "To cut the tree," shouted the worshipper. "I will not let you do it," said Satan. A fight took place between the two again but this time Satan had the upper hand and overpowered the worshipper. The latter was surprised at his own defeat, and asked the former the cause of his success. Satan replied, "At first, your anger was purely for earning the pleasure of Allah, and therefore Almighty Allah helped you to overpower me, but now it has been partly for the sake of the gold coins and therefore you lost."

INTERESTING AMERICAN LOGIC

Its interesting to read

Q: Daddy, why did we have to attack Iraq?

A: Because they had weapons of mass destruction.

Q: But the inspectors didn't find any weapons of mass destruction.

A: That's because the Iraqis were hiding them.

Q: And that's why we invaded Iraq?

A: Yep.  Invasions always work better than inspections.

Q: But after we invaded them, we STILL didn't find any weapons of mass destruction, did we?

A: That's because the weapons are so well hidden.  Don't worry, we'll find something, probably right before the 2004 election.

Q: Why did Iraq want all those weapons of mass destruction?

A: To use them in a war, silly.

Q: I'm confused.  If they had all those weapons that they planned to use in a war, then why didn't they use any of those weapons when we went to war with them?

A: Well, obviously they didn't want anyone to know they had those weapons, so they chose to die by the thousands rather than defend themselves.

Q: That doesn't make sense.  Why would they choose to die if they had all those big weapons with which they could have fought back?

A: It's a different culture.  It's not supposed to make sense.

Q: I don't know about you, but I don't think they had any of those weapons our government said they did.

A: Well, you know, it doesn't matter whether or not they had those weapons.  We had another good reason to invade them anyway.

Q: And what was that?

A: Even if Iraq didn't have weapons of mass destruction, Saddam Hussein was a cruel dictator, which is another good reason to invade another country.

Q: Why?  What does a cruel dictator do that makes it OK to invade his country?

A: Well, for one thing, he tortured his own people.

Q: Kind of like what they do in China?

A: Don’t go comparing China to Iraq.  China is a good economic competitor, where millions of people work for slave wages in sweatshops to make U.S. corporations richer.

Q: So if a country lets its people be exploited for American corporate gain, it’s a good country, even if that country tortures people?

A: Right.

Q: Why were people in Iraq being tortured?

A: For political crimes, mostly, like criticizing the government.  People who criticized the government in Iraq were sent to prison and tortured.

Q: Isn’t that exactly what happens in China?

A: I told you, China is different.

Q: What’s the difference between China and Iraq?

A: Well, for one thing, Iraq was ruled by the Ba’ath party, while China is Communist.

Q: Didn’t you once tell me Communists were bad?

A: No, just Cuban Communists are bad.

Q: How are the Cuban Communists bad?

A: Well, for one thing, people who criticize the government in Cuba are sent to prison and tortured.

Q: Like in Iraq?

A: Exactly.

Q: And like in China, too?

A: I told you, China’s a good economic competitor.  Cuba, on the other hand, is not.

Q: How come Cuba isn’t a good economic competitor?

A: Well, you see, back in the early 1960s, our government passed some laws that made it illegal for Americans to trade or do any business with Cuba until they stopped being Communists and started being capitalists like us.

Q: But if we got rid of those laws, opened up trade with Cuba, and started doing business with them, wouldn’t that help the Cubans become capitalists?

A: Don’t be a smart-ass.

Q: I didn’t think I was being one.

A:  Well, anyway, they also don’t have freedom of religion in Cuba.

Q: Kind of like China and the Falun Gong movement?

A: I told you, stop saying bad things about China.  Anyway, Saddam Hussein came to power through a military coup, so he’s not really a legitimate leader anyway.

Q: What’s a military coup?

A: That’s when a military general takes over the government of a country by force, instead of holding free elections like we do in the United States.

Q: Didn’t the ruler of Pakistan come to power by a military coup?

A: You mean General Pervez Musharraf?  Uh, yeah, he did, but Pakistan is our friend.

Q: Why is Pakistan our friend if their leader is illegitimate?

A: I never said Pervez Musharraf was illegitimate.

Q: Didn’t you just say a military general who comes to power by forcibly overthrowing the legitimate government of a nation is an illegitimate leader?

A: Only Saddam Hussein.  Pervez Musharraf is our friend, because he helped us invade Afghanistan.

Q: Why did we invade Afghanistan?

A: Because of what they did to us on September 11th.

Q: What did Afghanistan do to us on September 11th?

A: Well, on September 11th, nineteen men – fifteen of them Saudi Arabians – hijacked four airplanes and flew three of them into buildings in New York and Washington, killing 3,000 innocent people.

Q: So how did Afghanistan figure into all that?

A: Afghanistan was where those bad men trained, under the oppressive rule of the Taliban.

Q: Aren’t the Taliban those bad radical Islamics who chopped off people’s heads and hands?

A: Yes, that’s exactly who they were.  Not only did they chop off people’s heads and hands, but they oppressed women, too.

Q: Didn’t the Bush administration give the Taliban 43 million dollars back in May of 2001?

A: Yes, but that money was a reward because they did such a good job fighting drugs.

Q: Fighting drugs?

A: Yes, the Taliban were very helpful in stopping people from growing opium poppies.

Q: How did they do such a good job?

A: Simple.  If people were caught growing opium poppies, the Taliban would have their hands and heads cut off.

Q: So, when the Taliban cut off people’s heads and hands for growing flowers, that was OK, but not if they cut people’s heads and hands off for other reasons?

A: Yes.  It’s OK with us if radical Islamic fundamentalists cut off people’s hands for growing flowers, but it’s cruel if they cut off people’s hands for stealing bread.

Q: Don’t they also cut off people’s hands and heads in Saudi Arabia?

A: That’s different.  Afghanistan was ruled by a tyrannical patriarchy that oppressed women and forced them to wear burqas whenever they were in public, with death by stoning as the penalty for women who did not comply.

Q: Don’t Saudi women have to wear burqas in public, too?

A: No, Saudi women merely wear a traditional Islamic body covering.

Q: What’s the difference?

A: The traditional Islamic covering worn by Saudi women is a modest yet fashionable garment that covers all of a woman’s body except for her eyes and fingers.  The burqa, on the other hand, is an evil tool of patriarchal oppression that covers all of a woman’s body except for her eyes and fingers.

Q: It sounds like the same thing with a different name.

A: Now, don’t go comparing Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia.  The Saudis are our friends.

Q: But I thought you said 15 of the 19 hijackers on September 11th were from Saudi Arabia.

A: Yes, but they trained in Afghanistan.

Q: Who trained them?

A: A very bad man named Osama bin Laden.

Q: Was he from Afghanistan?

A: Uh, no, he was from Saudi Arabia too.  But he was a bad man, a very bad man.

Q: I seem to recall he was our friend once.

A: Only when we helped him and the mujahadeen repel the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan back in the 1980s.

Q: Who are the Soviets?  Was that the Evil Communist Empire Ronald Reagan talked about?

A: There are no more Soviets.  The Soviet Union broke up in 1990 or thereabouts, and now they have elections and capitalism like us.  We call them Russians now.

Q: So the Soviets – I mean, the Russians – are now our friends?

A: Well, not really.  You see, they were our friends for many years after they stopped being Soviets, but then they decided not to support our invasion of Iraq, so we’re mad at them now.  We’re also mad at the French and the Germans because they didn’t help us invade Iraq either.

Q: So the French and Germans are evil, too?

A: Not exactly evil, but just bad enough that we had to rename French fries and French toast to Freedom Fries and Freedom Toast.

Q: Do we always rename foods whenever another country doesn’t do what we want them to do?

A: No, we just do that to our friends.  Our enemies, we invade.

Q: But wasn’t Iraq one of our friends back in the 1980s?

A: Well, yeah.  For a while.

Q: Was Saddam Hussein ruler of Iraq back then?

A: Yes, but at the time he was fighting against Iran, which made him our friend, temporarily.

Q: Why did that make him our friend?

A: Because at that time, Iran was our enemy.

Q: Isn’t that when he gassed the Kurds?

A: Yeah, but since he was fighting against Iran at the time, we looked the other way, to show him we were his friend.

Q: So anyone who fights against one of our enemies automatically becomes our friend?

A: Most of the time, yes.

Q: And anyone who fights against one of our friends is automatically an enemy?

A: Sometimes that’s true, too.  However, if American corporations can profit by selling weapons to both sides at the same time, all the better.

Q: Why?

A: Because war is good for the economy, which means war is good for America.  Also, since God is on America’s side, anyone who opposes war is a godless unAmerican Communist.  Do you understand now why we attacked Iraq?

Q: I think so.  We attacked them because God wanted us to, right?

A: Yes.

Q: But how did we know God wanted us to attack Iraq?

A: Well, you see, God personally speaks to George W. Bush and tells him what to do.

Q: So basically, what you’re saying is that we attacked Iraq because George W. Bush hears voices in his head?

A.  Yes!  You finally understand how the world works.  Now close your eyes, make yourself comfortable, and go to sleep.  Good night.

Q: Good night, Daddy.

Thanks and now think

The Pakistani Way

After digging to a depth of 100 meters last year, Russian scientists
found  traces of copper wire dating back 1000 years, and came to the
conclusion  that their ancestors already had a telephone network one
 thousand years ago.

So, not to be outdone, in the weeks that followed,
American scientists dug 200 meters and the headlines in the US papers
read: “US scientists have found traces of 2000 year old optical fibers,
and have concluded that their ancestors already had advanced high-tech
digital telephone 1000 years earlier than the Russians.  One week
 later,

Pakistani daily newspapers reported the following: "After digging
as deep as 500 meters, Pakistani scientists have found absolutely
nothing".  They have concluded that 5000 years ago, their ancestors were
already using Bluetooth and Wireless technology

3 Minute Management Course

Lesson One:

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.

A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing?"

The eagle answered: "Sure, why not."  So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested.

All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Management Lesson:

To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson Two:

A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed

the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy." "Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?"

replied the bull.

They're packed with nutrients." The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him

enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.

The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.

Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly

spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Management Lesson:

Bullsh*t might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson Three:

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground

into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen

bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually

thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the

bird singing and came to investigate.

Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and

ate him.

Management Lesson:

(1) Not everyone who sh*ts on you is your enemy.

(2) Not everyone who gets you out of sh*t is your friend.

(3) And when you're in deep sh*t, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

This ends the 3-minute management course.

ARAB NEWS

If you have no more shame left in you, then feel free to do whatever you want to‏

What Ails Arab World

There is an Arab proverb that says, “If you have no more shame left in you, then feel free to do what you will” and by observing the present Arab mood, one is struck by how much this proverb applies to the Arabs now, whether they are the general public or the ruling elite and intelligentsia.

Arabs have nearly failed in all ideological and political projects they have undertaken in the past 60 years (barring minor successes here and there). All they have held to be sacred such as Nasserism, Arab nationalism or Baathism have only brought bitter disappointment. They lack any sense of pride in their achievements. This toxic mixture has produced a thoroughly rotten state of being. This afflicts the entire Arab world with slight differences related to each country’s specific historic and cultural background. This putrid atmosphere, as I said, covers all segments of the Arab society — both the general public and the elite.

As a result of this sickening atmosphere, the Arabs simply surrender all reason or self-respect when confronted with the possibility of failure or defeat. They don’t know how to resist or react to the challenges to their very existence, particularly the Palestinian cause. We have become spectators desperate for strangers to take the lead in our own play.

There exists an unspoken wish in the Arab minds that the Palestinian problem would somehow or other go away even if it means the disappearance of the Palestinians themselves. It is as though we are wishing them away. We behave as though we are in the position of someone burdened with the responsibility of taking care of a gravely handicapped member of the family and who after many years of desperate care wishes that the crippled kin simply died sparing him the pain and agony of looking after the unfortunate fellow. So, we are now hoping the Palestinians would just vanish and leave us, the rest of the Arabs, in peace, to live, enjoy life and go about those mundane things which define other people’s lives. We desire nothing more than to be spared the gruesome spectacle of Palestinians crying for our help and dying.

As we regurgitate our personal agony remembering the thousands who died for the sake of Palestine and many more who have been maimed, we choose to ignore the fact that we have countries to return to. We have homes and families living free on their own land with dignity while the Palestinians have died by the tens of thousands since 1948 and the rest have been living as homeless, wandering refugees since 1948, not to say anything of those living under a brutal and humiliating occupation since 1967. Arabs feel they have suffered taking care of their handicapped kin but does their suffering reach anywhere near that of the Palestinians?

The word that captures the Arab world’s mood now is “Business.” They talk of the rise in petrol prices, the economic boom exploding all over the Arab world, the reforms in economic laws and liberalization of the economy. Words like globalization and free trade are all the fashion now while we build new cities to express this new direction in Arab societies. All of it is good and should be done to improve the living standard of the Arabs. Yet, lost in this economic euphoria is all the rest. Does the solution for the problems of the Arab world lie in the creation of a few billionaires? How can we try to fix the pipe in a house that is burning down? If you feel I am exaggerating things, then look around you.

The situation in Palestine has never been this worse. An entire nation has been put in concentration camps and left to starve and the Arab world finds that it doesn’t merit a crisis call? Iraq is occupied and brutalized and you don’t even call for resistance or support the one already on the ground, preferring to denounce the chaos without accusing or holding to account those who are responsible for it. Somalia is virtually gone and you haven’t budged. Soon Iran will be bombed and then more chaos will engulf the entire region but you are enthusiastically talking about economic growth. It is as though you are building a house over an active volcano and worse it is already rumbling and all you talk about is how you are going to decorate it. And if anyone, God forbid, resists or even thinks of resistance he or she is condemned as a fanatic. The fearless defense of Hezbollah in Lebanon last year won them no thanks from Arab regimes or many of the Arab people. They passed over the first true victory in six decades of the Arab-Israeli conflict with nothing more than scorn.

In many ways the girl from Qatif, as she is now known to the entire world, has become to me a metaphor for what ails the Arab world: A woman gang-raped yet punished for being a victim! Anyone who defends her is also held accountable. She defines what is very wrong with our state of being in which the God-given rights are perverted and wrong becomes right and cruelty becomes justice. Now, in the Arab world it is the victim who is punished, it is the victim who will not be allowed to seek justice or defend himself. It is the law of the jungle in which the strong are rewarded and the weak persecuted. So, feel free to do what you will since we have become a people bereft of any shame.

US COMMANDER CONVERT TO ISLAM

US commander converts to Islam
Sun, 04 Nov 2007 12:32:05

The US commander of International Security Assistance Force in the Andar district of Ghazni Province in Afghanistan has embraced Islam.

The commander of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) embraced Islam in the presence of 2,000 people on Thursday.

Cap. Cormier Michel - 45 - commands 300 ISAF troops in the Taliban-infested district. The Ghazni governor, district chief, provincial council members, local officials, elders, ISAF soldiers and students attended a ceremony marking the commander's conversion to Islam.

The ceremony, which lasted well over three hours, concluded with chants of 'Allah-o-Akbar (Allah is Great).

Cap. Michel, who changed his name to Abdul Wahed, started his brief speech with Bismillah (In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent and the most Merciful). During the last five years, Abdul Wahed pointed out, he had been studying Islamic books and he concluded that Islam is the first religion.

Islam is a religion of peace and brotherhood, but terrorists and extremists are bringing a bad name to it," he noted.

Be Aware

Plz clear your mind and think

  • I think you are not aware of GEO...its been funded by USA govt......just think what Jew /Indian/ American lobby want ……… the basic idea is to promote frustration, and despondence in a nation, so they start to demoralize and the future can be mapped as they want to project it in the minds of 50 percent illiterate population.. ..that are born Muslim, can't read, but can see.
  • Why on earth USA is concern with only GEO, why CNN, BBC and bush quote GEO? Why not other TV channels in china, japan, Cuba, India, Saudi Arabia, France? Why only Pakistan???? ??
  • Why geo showed peoples’ bodies without head, only finger parts, people dying after bomb blast? Does any other channel show these things?
  • Just think…… in India more than 2000 Muslims were killed in Gujarat in three months!!!! Did you see any 36 hours live coverage of these killings? Has any one seen this on ZEE or star or Sony etc… any Indian channel????
  • Babri Masjid was destroyed by Hindus…. any live coverage???? Nuns in Tamil nado of India were burnt alive in a church and for next 6 hours the church kept burning. Did any Indian channel or CNN or BBC show that???? In France, 700 cars were burnt in one day… yet no coverage.
  • There were 89 separatist movements in India in 2007 …from Bihar to Kashmir Assam etc… Did you see on any Indian channel showing 250 million people sleeping on footpath???? ?
  • Zee India never showed killing of Kashmiris and the attack on GOLDEN TEMPLE, killing of Sikhs on Indian soil
  • How many Israeli channels show killing by Israeli soldiers, when they kill Palestinians? ????
  • Have you ever seen Indian president or politician being verbally abused on TV channels during live coverage????
  • There have been reported 30,000 rape cases in USA… do you see on TV???? But you see Mukhtaran maee on geo/cnn/bbc
  • Why geo was not concerned with Benazir’s wealth and property?? And Nawaz sharif’s property?

WHO is GEO????

Just think… they telecasted false news about emergency and hence the stock market crashed in Pakistan…

  • Do you know Kamran Khan was getting RS 25 lakh per month?
  • Do you know Dr. Shahid masood, was a member of NSF student party (a political left wing student party against Pakistan and Islamic forces…. with RS 22 lacs per month and home in dubai and Karachi
  • Same amount been paid to Hamid Mir editor “Ausaf”……even Nadia Khan with Rs 6 lacs per month… Such huge amount, just to for free????
  • When they were not able to broadcast the 8-hour cricket match, they said they lost 1 billion rupees, and just imagine without any money just for free they were broadcasting judge activity in peoples party car for free, Nawaz sharif and benazir for free……all 36 hour coverage just for free????? By a private channel!!!!! !
  • 50 percent Indian dramas on geo and 25 percent with mix cast (Indian and Pakistani) and Indian films.
  • Movie like 'khuda key liyaeh' an issue of religion, so that people can play with Islam and its culture was telecasted.
  • Alim online where Mr. Amir Liaqat sitting in grave and dramatizing Islam. He translated the dua of imam kaba and broadcasted his name on TV.... Audience: 50% jahil people in pakistan
  • geo did not show any good news like Islamabad Peshawar motorway but instead it showed dead people in karachi ....they never discuss 5.1 billion dollar of oil refinery in Pakistan, instead they show beheading of Pakistani people... never discuss why America is telling musharf to take off his uniform????/ why is USA interfering in our business!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

Itna jhoot bolo, k log sumjhen kuch to succh ho ga …

Prophet Muhammad said…BuddGumaanee nahi karna chahiyeh… and he also said that for a Muslim it is a lie if he states without any enquiry /investigation

A COUNTRY where 60 percent of population cannot read and has never been to school, is  media playing its role for the deprived population or promoting the motto of Elite class..

She is only asking for your prayers

I am forwarding to you some information about a young girl and her family who is going through a very tough time. This was sent to me by one of our members and I think this family is in Karachi, Pakistan.

The girl's mother is only asking for your prayers.

Thanks

Asslamualaikum,

My daughter Salma, who is just 12 years old is battling for life at a
Local hospital, she is suffering from cancer and is presently in the last stage. The doctors have given up all hope but then I have trust in ALLAH and in the power of dua. Therefore as a helpless mother of a dying child I beg all of you to pray for my daughter, please include her as a part of each and every dua of yours. Please pray to ALLAH that He should give her body the strength to respond to the medication, that He should somehow miraculously heal her of this disease and I NSHAALLAH grant her a healthy and long life (AMEEN)

Please, please pass this message on to as many Muslim brothers and Sisters as you can. If even ten percent of you would remember to pray for my
daughter then it would mean a lot for us. Your duas and Allah's mercy is our ONLY hope.
Thank You,

Al-Madinah

A Saudi father set a strange condition for prospective suitors wanting to marry his daughter, the Al-Madinah daily reported yesterday. The father stated that regardless of their educational background, family or social status, the only thing that mattered to him was that the suitor’s name be Khaled. The “logic” behind this rather bizarre notion is that the man’s other three daughters are all happily married to different Khaleds. Fearing that he might break a bout of good luck, he wants his daughter to marry a Khaled and live happily ever after

Then look for the answer below. Test yourself first.

of a sample of fluid hydride of oxygen in a large vessel, the exact
size of which was unspecified.

'One member of the team precipitously descended, sustaining severe
damage to the upper cranial portion of his anatomical structure;
subsequently, the second member of the team performed
self-rotational translation, orientated in the same direction taken by the
first team member.'

ANY GUESSES WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT???

Scroll down to understand :.......in simple English what does this translate to?

'Jack and Jill went up the hill

FIRST PAKISTAN LOVE PAKISTAN

REAL TARGET NUCLEAR PROGRAM OF PAKISTAN?
By: DR SHAHID QURESHI
Published: 12th November 2007

There was a time not very long ago when ‘transportation’ of criminals from petty thieves to murders, was frequent to the British Colony in America now known as United States. The US joined the WWII right at the very end but if you see Hollywood movies one feel as if they librated the whole World. That mentality Hollywood is still continued even today. Some of the US publications and writers have started a campaign against Pakistan and its nuclear program.  The US writers and journalists must read history of the people of this region, which is much older than 60 years. They must understand that people of Pakistan have thousands of year’s glorious history and civilisations behind them. People of Pakistan have no history of genocide, slavery and criminality.

Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state and they know how to defend its assets. On the other hand US must review its policy of leaving Pakistan in the lurch and join the enemies of Pakistan. I must say those who signed the one-sided CETO and CENTO agreements must be hanged for treason and those who are jumping by becoming a non-NATO ally must be imprisoned. This membership does not worth more than leisure centre membership. They think every thing they say is gospel. US must come out of its criminal past because its policies always back fire and hurt innocent Americans. Though British Empire has shrunken yet they are smart and clever.

A British think tank International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS) published a dossier about the Dr AQ Khan and nuclear proliferation. I mentioned to Mark Fitzpatrick before the launch that word ‘dossier’ is associated with lies, deception and dodgy in the context of Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destructions (WMDs). I told him that more than 170 British companies were involved in the Iraqi chemical and biological weapons program according to Channel 4. When journalist presented the list of the companies supplied chemical and biological material to Saddam Hussein regime to Ministry of Defence, the response was something like ‘list is correct’.  The moral of the story is that people don’t trust the dodgy dossiers and biased reports.

I asked Dr John Chipman director general of the IISS and Mark Fitzpatrick editor of dossier Nuclear Black Markets: Pakistan, AQ Khan and the rise of proliferation networks, in the Q&A: (a) Is there any nuclear program in the world, in which human and material proliferations were not involved? (b) your report seems unfair because you have not mentioned anything about the Israeli nuclear program, proliferation and illegal assistance by the US and Western countries.? Two paragraphs about Israeli Nuclear program in 176-page document. (c) What national and international law Dr A Q Khan has violated and what should be his punishment.

Mark Fitzpatrick agreed that there is no nuclear program in the world where proliferation did not happened; US program was based on proliferation i.e. technical and material knowledge of the German Nazi scientist.  He agreed that Israelis were involved in proliferation in a round about way. He stated that Israeli program was assisted by the states than private individuals. It is like saying if an individual is involved in terrorism he or she should brought to justice but if a state is involved in state terrorism that’s OK.

According to my knowledge Dr Khan has not violated any national or international law. He could be charged with smuggling or illegal trading like British use to trade in drugs (opium) with China in the past. We should not make a moral issue of things, which are strategic or related to security of small insecure countries.

If Israel who is not NPT signatory can be allowed to have nuclear weapons and program because it is ‘surrounded by hostile neighbours’ why cant Iran who is NPT signatory allowed to have a peaceful nuclear program under IAEA safe guards. What is the point on signing NPT when one cannot benefit of it? I think its time that NPT should be reviewed if it is not serving the purpose.

J Wilkerson former chief of staff of Colin Powel said something like, ‘what we know now is that sources of the intelligence on Iraqi WMDS were not credible and Colin Powel was probably misled and deliberately sent to the UN Security Council with false or half true information. The name ‘Chelabi’ an Iraqi exile seems central to most of the information US had on biological, chemical and nuclear programs.

In the current scenario Benazir Bhutto is doing exactly what Chelabi did. She is misleading the westerns by saying something like that ‘mullahs’ are going to take control of ‘Pakistani Nukes’ as if they are lying in some fruit market. One doesn’t expect these types of irresponsible comments from some one who has been Prime Minister twice. Pakistanis are smart enough to look after their nuclear assets. It seems Benzair Bhutto has commissioned herself with tasks like ‘de-Islamisation, de-nuclearisation, and de commissioning of Pakistan’s armed forces.

On 25th October 2007 in a joint press conference at No.10 Doweing Street official residence of British Prime Minsiter, with Afghan President Hamid Karzai the British Prime Minsiter Gordon Brown did not answer my question, “British People expect high standards both moraly and integrity from their politicians. Many Pakistanis are asking than why Britain is supporting Benzair Bhutto who created and supprted Taliban and also involved in corrptuion mounting wealth of $2 bilion?

People of Pakistan are competent and talented. They don’t need lecturing from outside those who do must have compromised them. A painting in the reception lobby of NASA's flight facility at Wallop Island shows Tipu Sultan’s soldiers launching rockets attacks against the British. He was the first Muslim rocketry warfare hero. The current Pakistani nuclear and missile program seems a revival of the 18th century dream of Tipu Sultan'.

The British captured more than 700 rockets and subsystems of 900 rockets in the battle of Turukhanahally in 1799. Tipu Sultan’s army had 27 brigades called Kushoons, and each brigade had a company of rocket men, called Jourks. These rockets had been taken to England by William Congreve and were subjected by the British to what we call "reverse engineering" today.

Tipu Sultan was the only ruler in the world who died in the battlefield fighting the enemy according to a French scholar. Tipu Sultan reigned 1782-1799 and died in May 1799, fighting the combined forces of British and collaborators, the Nizam of Hyderabad, and the Marhattas. He lost the battle because of deceit and treachery by collaborators.  Iraqis and Pakistanis have learnt how to deal with occupiers and invaders i.e. ‘kill the collaborators first’. Pakistanis are keeping close eyes on their collaborators living both in and outside of Pakistan.

US must check its own back yard as far as nuclear safety is concerned. Its own pilots have been sacked for flying around with live nuclear warheads for hours and claimed ‘they thought it was dummy’ not very long ago. How irresponsible and dangerous is that?

Tour De Japan

A few weeks ago, sitting around open fire

with friends, the owner of Economy groups of companies said that he going to Japan to buy cars for his new car yard and to meet his cars suppliers in Japan, Fed up by cold in NZ I asked him that if can give him company if his friend how supply him cars won’t mind. After OK signal got my ticket through Pan World, Our departure where at same day but coming back was on deferent dates, That time my thinking was this that what if that person there may be too “dry” too bear, I thought in that case I will have to find some backpacker to stay

Flight was in early in the morning. Raja Rafaqat and his partner came to pick me up.

After 10 hour-long flights we landed on Narita airport of Tokyo. About Japan, specially Tokyo I thought there would be building only but I was wrong when saw a lot of greenery around the Tokyo in my bird eyes view from plane

On ground I found big airport with about 98 terminals compare to Auckland 18 terminal only. First thing I experienced was a heat wave which compelled my to take off my jacket. Although airport was air conditioned, we all were sweating because delayed immigration service

At immigration service, immigration officer asked me preposed of visit I told him to see my Pakistani friend. During this time he looked in passport and said “you Pakistani” I said “yes” He asked me “what is your friend status here in Japan” I said I don’t know but you can give him ring confirm, I gave him his full name Ashrif Ejaza Khan

At that stage first time came in mind that after 11 of September; Pakistan has no good name out there in international community. Some we got to pay the price, just to be on right side Anyway immigration officer rung Ashrif who was there to pick us up

Airport to Asrif place is 60 km, which is Japanese’s term “very close” It took us 30 minute to do 60 km; you can imagine how fast and how good Japan motorway system is. On way I was thinking that why immigration stoped me do I look like terrorist

A SAD DAY OF MY LIFE

I always think that Dhaka Fall was my sadist day of my life. Whenever Dhaka name come ' half black page of news paper with head line "Dhaka has fallen" flashes in my mind

I was young boy that time. Unknown to distraction of war I use to think it is good thing we should go on war every 6year to test our strength I still remember I was volunteer along side with my brothers, father and other family members. On Mureed air base. I have filled few sand bags, because it was call of in charge of Moreed air base, he wanted volunteers from civilian sector to fill the sand bags to re enforced some bunkers.

I worked hard my dad work hard my whole family worked hard. Results were against our wishes and unacceptable ' time has few quality it doesn’t stop and heels, wound has been heeled but scar is still there, what ever you call it, it was clear defeat

Until 8/10 happened

News first broken on quran khowni of Chacha Bannars, somebody told that Pakistan has hit by earthquake casualties are 28, No worry was my first thought, Pakistan is big country and these things small for big country like Pakistan, by time I went to bed death tool was under 100, mainly from Islamabad Still NO WORRY. Next day death tool was more then 3000. Yes it was worry time, glue to TV seeing horrified scene, first time I cried, I never cried for Tsunami victims, I did not cried for Ketharina victims they were human too and I consider myself preacher of humanity but I didn't feel for them, many time asked myself " am I a hypocrite? " maybe. "Why" as charity starts from home ...feeling starts with relations. Probably that’s why I cried for Pakistan because here I have tow relations, human and Pakistani one

In first meeting I saw big posters sitting on table showing the destruction earthquake, that morning I was thinking that we are wasting our time here we should be on move .my thinking was wrong. Senior members of community were laying out the plan for funds rising, that day Nadeem Asharf and Ch Mukhtar preposed business community meeting, next day we had bulk donations of more then 20000 thanks to Mr Asharf and Mr Mukhtar, it would be sin if we don’t mention Jamshaid ul Hussan who arranged AFTTAR dinner for all business people's gathering .GM offered his yards as collection point .Zeb khan his tuck for transportation. Shahid Azad coordinated volunteers

All parts of Pakistanis machinery worked perfectly and according to plan it took us 12 days to achieve the target of 100000 set by President of PANZ

One aim this article is that all other communities who worked with us, leaving behind political and ethnic differences, oblige us it is our obligation to do the same to them if time like this inflict upon them

If pain is big enough then we are one
