(Splash) - This is the most expensive home in the world - and it's up for sale.

The picturesque 95-acre estate in Aspen, Colorado, is owned by a Saudi Arabian prince - and can be yours for a mere $135 million.

But with just 946 billionaires in the world, the list of potential buyers is somewhat short.

The mansion, called Hala Ranch, was built in 1991 for the family of Prince Bandar bin Sultan - the former ambassador to the United States from Saudi Arabia.

Boasting 15 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a private barbershop and a beauty salon, all nestled on 56,000 square feet, the property is bigger than the White House.

Many of the rooms are huge, with banks of windows overlooking the Aspen valley and the mountains, and the estate has enough room for a party of 450 people.

Three junior suites on the main level open up to a courtyard with a reflecting pool, flowers and a waterfall.

A private children's wing comprises four bedroom suites and a sitting room, while the property can accommodate a large staff in designated areas on the lower level.

Recreational activities are also catered for - with an indoor pool, a steam room, an exercise room and tennis courts.

The estate even includes cross country ski trails, a fishing pond, a heated hay barn and a heated stable.

Hala Ranch is so exclusive - even potential buyers are strictly vetted, with realtors and lawyers for Prince bin Sultan reviewing every call.

Out of around 1,000 requests to tour the plush home since it went on the market in October last year, only 11 have been granted.
