Mr. Syed Mahmood ul Hassan has been living in New Zealand for last 10 years. While his application for proper immigration status remained under consideration during this time, he bravely managed and sustained his family despite his status difficulties. Two of his children are New Zealand born citizens and deeply immersed in New Zealand culture. They are developing into fine beings by virtue of an excellent education system and Kiwi upbringing. They were quite sure that their special circumstances would help them in achieving NZ residence and continuing their peaceful family life in New Zealand. Syed has recently been apprehended by New Zealand Immigration on charges of overstaying that has caused huge agony for all family members and community as well. There is a chance that he might be deported. This will put his family under huge stress and kid's future in tatters.

Death Sentence It is good that Zara support group is active. They have created an I petition , point is this would that be enough?. This group should arrange meeting , convince people by telling them story face to face , then ask them to sign the petition physically. In Pakistan where lawyers can be get killed just for having deferent opinion , where doctors get bashing for not curing patients, where people gets 12 hours a day load shading of power supply , Sanding Mahmood’s family to Pakistan means , if it not death sentence then it would be very close to death sentence, After signing this petition this support group would be able to see authorities who may be able to help Mahmood"s Family .
