A great function was organised by URDU HINDI CULTURAL ASSOCIATION
OF NEW ZEALAND to launch the first annual magazine "DHANAK" of the association
which is in three languages Urdu Hindi and English and printed in India.
The function was held at 54 Roberton Road Avondale on 2nd of September and was attended
by languages loving people. Among them were both Indian members of the Parliament

Hon Kanwaljit Singh Bakhshi and Dr Rajen Prasad . Other digniteries were Roopa Sachdev
Janab Tauqir Khan very senior member of the Pakistani community and former President of Pakistan association Janab Billa G of Blood Balti and the representatives of all three Indian radios Roopa Sachdev
of Radio Tarana Janab Nasir Khan Sahib of Radio Apna and Indian radio legend of New Zealand Mr Rajesh Maharaj
of Radio HUM.The magazine "DHANAK" was lauched by Honourable Kanwaljit Singh Bakhshi
The President Mr Nafis Akhtar hoped that this magazine will become the monthly magzine
oneday if the support of the people continued. Dr Rajen Prasad appreciated the efforts of
the officials in bringing out such a beautiful magazine. " I SPECIALLY LIKE ITS NAME DHANAK
WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL NAME" said Dr Prasad.
Dr Taimoori and Janab Tauqir Khan Sahib spoke about the sevrices of Janab Syed
Mujeeb who recently recieved Queen Service Medal on queens Birthday honours.The two congratulated Br Syed Mujeeb on behalf of the association.
In the end Roopa suchdev thanked everybody who made contribution in the magazine and assisted the
association.
The programme was very successfully coordinated by very able and hardworking Janab
Mohammad Imran sahib who was Master of ceremonies of the function
