Important Notes

 

The last date of filing nominations is March 4, 2008. Nomination forms are available from 36 Stoddard Rd, Mt. Roskill and can be submitted during office hours before the final date and time. All the nominations would be checked by Election Commission in presence of nominators and nominees at 36 Stoddard Road, Mt Roskill on March 4^th, 2008 between 4-7pm.The panels must bring their panel fee in cash. Nominator and nominee both need to bring their original proof of citizenship/PR/Work Visa along with original Pakistani passport/NICOP as an ID to check their Pakistani origin and signatures.

Each Panel consists of 5 candidates as explained in PANZ constitution and whole panel should be present at the time of submitting their nominations. Election Commission has to approve/reject the nomination on the spot soon after the time of submission. Therefore, all candidates must meet their criteria for approval of a nomination and failure to meet the specified conditions for any candidate will result as a rejection of the whole panel.

Election Commission has powers the power to disqualify any candidate from the election if he/she is found to create any disturbance/disruption in the election process on Election Day. The election will be held on March 9^th, 2008.Election Commission can select more members in the election commission if required.
