The objectives of the fund

• to ensure a wide range of community activities, projects, programmes and events are supported at a citywide level
• to encourage innovative community programmes and initiatives
• to encourage volunteers to organise and participate in community activities
• to provide opportunities for communities and neighbourhoods to get together informally for celebration, social and recreational events.
