It would be unfair if our hocky team is here and we don’t know, it is not too late to have dinner with them, said Mr Bhatti former general secretary of PANZ, he said actually this is PANZ job to arrange such a dinner, he added if PANZ want to do some thing, and think it is too much , he can share the burden of cast with PANZ

Pakistan Veterans have thrashed New Zealand hockey team 5-2 in final of Mens Masters Hockey Tournament and clinched the title quite convincingly. Amid a great roar of Pakistani spectators, Shahid Ali Khan captain of Pakistan Hockey Team lifted the trophy. The matched started at a fast pace but after sustaining initial pressure Green Shirts penetrated the Kiwi defense with blitz of continuous attacks , scoring 4 goals in a short span of time, dashing all the hopes of Kiwi Players and their supporters to the ground. Great number of Pakistani turned at the ground to watch the game and encouraged their team`s march towards the victory. Pakistan Association of New Zealand thanks those who came to the ground on PANZ call and to cheered their side. We are also grateful to Nayyer Ghazali (EnviroChem),Wahab Khan(Khyber Autos), Zahoor (Platinum Motors), Nadeem Ashraf (Tarnica Cars) for holding dinner parties for the teams. We also obliged to the great team work showed by volunteers including Imran Janjua, Nasir Mehmood, Nazar Abbas, Zahid Shabbir, Imran Ashraf, Kamran Saqib, Ali, Abdul Qudoos, Khawaja Ahmer, and others who sacrificed their time in serving the visiting hockey team in best of manner. Pakistan Association of New Zealand provided all sorts of help including transportation, recreation and food to the team for more than a week on continuous basis and did whatever it could do to make the players feel at home.
