CHAKWAL January 5: The ceremony of 78th birth anniversary of the late Ex.
Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutoo was held at the workers office of
Pakistan Peoples Party Chakwal on Thursday and it was presided over by
veteran worker Hakeem Nisar Ahmed, while member Punjab Bar Council Hasan
Raza Pasha was the chief guest. Those who spoke on this occasion were Ch.
Mehdi Khan, Zafar Ali Balouch, Maqbool Hussain Hashmi, Hakeem Nisar Ahmed,
Iltaf Hussain Qureshi, Muhammad Azam Minhas, Nasir Hatar, Sadaqat Ali,
Iftikhar Bhatti, Shah Jahan Sarfraz Raja, Ch. Ghulam Hussain and Hasan Raza
Pasha Advocate. The speakers paid reach tribute to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for
his excellent services rendered by him. They criticized the Government
policies as prices of essential commodity were sky high, while unemployment
had gripped the whole country which caused a great panic among the general
public. They were of the view that there was a political vacuum in the
country, therefore the safe return of Be-Nazeer Bhutoo, Mian Niwaz Sharif
and Altaf Hussain should be ensured. Later on a cake was cut and workers
shouted slogan of Geyaa-Bhutoo. It is worth mentioning here that local
leader ship of Pakistan Peoples Party including District president was not
present on this occasion, which indicate a clear rift in the rank of
Pakistan Peoples Party District Chakwal which was divided into two groups in
recent local bodies election.

CHAKWAL January 5: Additional IG Punjab has appointed a high power inquiry
team headed by DIG to look into the matter of missing of ASP Sadar Circle
inquiry report which was conducted by the order of DIG Rawalpindi and his
finding was omitted from the murder case of cable operator Mirza Dilshad
Khan. This was stated by ASP Sadar Circle Sajid Kiyani on Thursday at the
court of Additional District and Session Judge Chakwal Mr. Sohail Nasir,
however the then SHO of City Police Station Chakwal Mirza Fazal Ahmed who
conducted the investigation of Mirza Dilshad murder case was failed to
satisfy the court, regarding the missing of inquiry report that was made as
a part of Mirza Dilshad murder case file. The Judge have summoned both the
police officials at his court on a written application filed by the
Chaudhary Zahoor Hussain advocate counsel from the deceased and contended
that the inquiry report of ASP was removed from the file to benefit the
accused as the local police was under political pressure and it was also
feared that police has taken huge amount of bribe from the accused. The
Judge after hearing the argument directed SHO Mirza Fazal Ahmed to bring the
inquiry report by 16th January by next hearing date. Chaudhary Mehmood
Akhtar Advocate appeared on behalf of the accused. In the meantime DIG
Rawalpindi range Syed Murawat Hussain suspended Mirza Fazal Ahmed Ex. SHO of
City Police Station, investigation office Sub Inspector Iftikhar Ahmed and
Moharar Abid Hussain forth with due to missing of inquiry report of ASP
Sadar Circle Chakwal from the file of Mirza Dilshad Khan murder case.
