Before 14th of Aug and after 14th of Aug few people approached Sohni Dharti to start a discussion about the day of Big Day Out , they were complaining about Jushn e Azadi on week day , which is not suitable for few who work in weeks day, we need to know all community members to give there opinion as city counsel is willing to allocate us the Edge in city centre which has capacity of more then 2000 people, there is few drawbacks of getting The Edge for Big Day Out , one of them is parking , which cast more then $10 per car

I THINK IN NEW ZEALAND EVERY CAR CAN AFFORD $10. JUST FOR ONCE IN A YEAR TIME.ITS NOT A BIG DEAL.

The Pakistan Association of Australia (PAA) is proud to announce their Azadi Mela or Independence Day Fair at Fairfield Showground on Sunday 13 August 2007.
The PAA will arrange great stalls, fantastic Pakistani food, live entertainment, kids rides and plus much more. Record crowds of over 5,000 people attended the event this year from all parts of the Australian Pakistani and Indian communities. Mr Naseer Taseer, Vice President of Youth said whilst on holidays in the UK.
The PAA will be holding a cricket competition the day before and all members of the Australian Pakistani and wider Australian community are encouraged to enter.
if in austuralia they can do it why not in new zealand ?
14th of Aug 2007 is falling on Tuesday, point is this shall we do it on Tuesday or we should move the date to 19th of Aug which is Sunday I personally think if 14 of Aug is not on 14th Aug then it is not 14th of Aug , we can do all other program as with connection of 14 Aug , if we leave 14th Aug open it will create big mass in Pak community
Jushan E Azadi must be on 14th Aug, what ever day its fall , although we are for away from our home land but we must not forget our heritage , said Yaqoob Bhatti , in phone conversation from OZ , Mr Bhatti said 14th of Aug is not just an other day , our folks have given sacrifices for this day , if we move it on to some other day other then 14 Aug then we are not safe guarding our heritage , Mr Bhatti said I set this trend of jushan e Azadi on 14th Aug during my tenure of PANZ’s VP and I will support Jushan E Azadi on 14 of Aug
yes this is a fact,that we shall have to celebrate the special days on their special dates not like indians celebrate for bhoondy only?????????
