Due to poor attendance which was not good enough to carry on AGM , so according to constitution next AGM is going to be held on Sunday 15 of October , time 6pm , same place Shaikh Zaid collage Hall Mangere, 44 Westney Rd, Mangere , there would no condition of corum , all attendance would be consider as corum We have of membership of 600 plus said President of PANZ Aftari was YUM
To PANZ,REQUEST:I , Khawaja Zubair Saleem BillG, would like to request PANZ to include Jinnah centre in AGMs agenda , we were shown the land which PANZ has leased for Jinnah centre , and we were told an architect is working on design but community still don’t know any thing about it , even G/S Imtiaz and EXEC Hussan are unaware of this project , my apprehensions are - that Pakistani name is being used to generate funds , there is a hidden agenda, How can PANZ allow to design Jinnah centre without any agreement and if there is any agreement PANZ should share it with its members … At least with cabinet members Anther thing I want to include in agenda is a QUORUM , from last few years we are experiencing not to able to get a complete Quorum , so first meeting always goes in waste of money and time , for example : last year we spent more the $400 just to hire a hall for 9 people to do the AGM , to curb this kind of over spending we need to amend the constitution, I would like to suggest a FIX NUMBER QUORUM , it can be from 25 to 50 members BillaG
Dear Billa G. Thank you for your request. 1. Jinnah hall project report: As its a long time project and as per PANZ constitution the Executive members are resposible for these long term projects. I have forwarded your request to PANZ executive members through Mr. Hassan Jamshaidul for their decision to add this report to the PANZ yearly report in oncoming AGM. Hope to hear from the Executive memebrs soon regarding this report and the decision. As soon I get a reply from them I will bring it in front of the community. 2. Quorum in AGM: As per the constitution of PANZ the ammendments and additions in the PANZ constitution are in our agenda for AGM. AGMAGM started right time with attendance of 14 people , accounts were presented in front of community and asked by out going President Naveed Hamid and his cabinet if anyone have any objection on accounts , accounts seems to be crystal clear no one had any question Scanned phase of meeting was amendment in constitution of PANZ , from now presence of 50 or more then 50 people will be consider as quorum An objection came from Exec of PWCS , Mazhar Hussain, how can we blame public while PANZ cabinet is not presence in full. ( two of executive of PANZ were absent )Official of PANZ would not allowed to have similar or any position in any other similar organization apart from Islamic organizations GM gave the proposal that there should be 6 people in panel instead of 5.... 6th one should be representative of business community Zeb Khan repeat last year amendment that if any office barier absent from meeting for two time should served with show cause notice About Jinnah Hall executive Zeb Khan said we didn't want to keep community in dark but we were afraid that if we exposed this Jinnah centre earlier we could have lose whole lot , he said community should understand our satiation
