Eid Show Good things takes time , Pakistan Social Welfare and Cultural Society has announced Eid Show Talking with Sohni Dharti Chief of PWCS Munawar Khan told Sohni Dharti that Eid Show is going to be bigger , better and brighter then ever as it is going to be held in Logon Campbell theatre . Which has seating capacity of 3000- Program , which include songs , skits , dance and drama would be the best Pakistani entertainment in Auckland , Mr. Khan said all the arrangement have been done , 13 of Jan 2007 , 5pm to onward would be a an evening with full of Entertainment . Mr. Khan requested all Desi folks to come along to enjoy the event Eid Show . Mr. Khan said that item of day wold be drama written by Amir Khan and directed by Nasir Khan, drama name is " ishq ney kia paagal For further details wait for Eid Show poster There is no entry free for the show According to Sohni Dharti information food you would have to purchase
If good things take time then good things get stale too if we don't use them in due date . This Eid show supposed to be for Eid ul Fitter , where PWCS made pact with PANZ , PWCS stepped back from it by not doing Eid ul Fiter program , now PWCS is doing this Eid Show did they negotiated it with PANZ which only representing body of Pakistan community If all arrangements are done then why PWCS is looking for funds from generous of Pak community , if they didn't negotiate with PANZ then I will say that PWCS have no right ask money from generous of PAK community - Said former G/s and Voice President of PANZ Yaqoob Bhati, Mr. Bhatti also said PANZ is mother party of Pak community , Pwcs should have asked PANZ even for formality sake
Rumours and Facts As mega Eid Show of PWCS is getting close , rumours are spreading around that in this show PWCS has marked Sohni Dharti and few other generous of community , top of the list is former Exec of Pak community Sabir Cheema who don't support their function and GM cars who has discarded their card and Choudrey Mukhtar who said he will prefer to donate money to Milad rather then this ............ and VP of PANZ Last Eid Show they did make mockery of GM, Shahid Azad, BillaG and others When Sohni Dharti asked Executive of PWCS . Malik Mazhar Hussein , he said " it is all rubbish , we respect all Pakistanis and PWCS has no plan to target any one" In answering the request of Sohni Dharti for distribution of Blood Balti pamphlet . Mr. Malik said PWCS could not reach the decision yet" . " because of differences of PWCS and Mr. Bhatti " Mr. Malik said I wouldn't like Mr. Bhatti name to be advertised in our Eid Show function He added that Sohni Dharti take side of Mr.Bhatti because Mr. Bhatti sponsor its Blood Balti
More then 1200 turned up to enjoy the Mega Eid Show organised by PWCS , it was mega show by all means , hall was big , stage was bright , and food was best on service Program kick off by Chief of PWCS Munawar Hussein with kalam “ Mola Nam”, singing of Female singer Joti was good , dancing of Shah Muhammad was good try for a budding star but it was too long and bit of out of rhythm but we must admire man’s stamina , Magic show was well entertaining among kids and adult as well, Putli Tammasha was the item of the day , it was so captivating that every one listen with pin drop silence , Aamir Khan did the best performance in singing , Bacha Jhomora was good but too short , one dialogue... Ustad : why Quaid made Pakistan? Jhamora: Sleep , sleep, sleep Ustad : What for Quaid Made Pakistan ? Jhamora: For Military! On one stage one announcer said that “ we were outs from India but our heart beats for each other” President of PWCS , Salim Raza said “ we are welfare and culture society and we are above religion , we welcome all Urdu and Hindi speaking in our society to promote culture and humanity”, Mr president distributed award to all major sponsors of this Eid Show Sohni Dharti were asked by many Pakistanis for pamphlets of Blood Balti , we had no answer because Sohni Dharti were stoped by PWCS to distribute it’s Blood Balti poster and pamphlet , while all other from take away to heer ranja were allowed to advertised their business, we believe they may be sponsor of Eid Show, but we are right to say Eid Show may be a business for PWCS but Blood Balti is not a business …certainly , Blood Balti is pure humanity work , above all politics and personal grudges , Talking with Sohni Dharti former J/S of PANZ and President of NZMA Haider Lone said “ Blood Balti is only event I can proudly mansion any where and I am proud That Sohni Dharti do it” Mr Lone Said this shows low mentality of PWCS and it’s organisers and a point to worry about for PWCS At the end drama “ishiq ne kar dia Pagal , good try but too long and missing out on essences , it looked like that a lot of “censor” happened on drama
Eid Mega Show was nicely arranged program.well done to Saleem Raza n his team,It was the good effort to entertain the people few programs were out standing. speicaly Sitar played by Rattan Thakhur.Magic show,Drama in comedy way, Standard of programe was really good but their few shortcommings which lot of people felt like There was no female representation of any Pakistani lady in any items It was better to name the program Indian ,Pakistan culture show instead of eid show Eatable items should not be allowed to bring in the hall bec it was really mess all over the place . It was better to start the program earlier bec the duration of program was bit longer n many people left early. Any show we really appriciate the good efforts n hard work done by all the concern people who really made the program joyfull for all keep it up Naseem Soherwardy
Dear Naseem, It was a great family entertainment and it was organized by Pakistani group , it should not be big deal if some Indian were participants of this Pakistani program , it was Pakistani program under the name of Pakistan , if PWCS hired few Indian to make this program good it doesn't mean it was Indian or half Indian program . In our observation , while having few star in our own community like Mirza jee in Ghazal , his son in dance were not given the chance to performed to prove that we are not less then anyone else It seems talent of Pakistan were victim of pity politics and personal grudges like Blood Balti of Sohni Dharti
