Muharram ul Haram - A gathering to remember the great sacrifice
As a representative of Karwam e Ilm Foundation, Lahore, I suggest a gathering of our community on 1st of January or on 2nd or 3rd (as convenient) to remember the great event of Karbala. Or few children could prepare speeches and few elder may throw lights on thisoccasion for benefit of our participants. I will welcome your feedback and keep informed of developments. Where Dose this danger come from ??
LAHORE: To ensure peace during Muharram-ul-Harram, Army and Rangers contingents have been summoned in Punjab, which would hold flag march throughout the province from January 1.
According to sources, Army contingents would be deployed in 20 districts whereas Rangers in 15 districts.
Section 144 has been imposed with immediate effect that imposed ban on aerial firing and exhibition of arms.
Interior ministry has directed administration of all districts to close the routes of Alam and Zuljinah processions for traffic and to deploy police and secret agency officials on the buildings situated in the route of processions.
