60 lashes for harassing girl
DAMMAM: Qatif General Court has sentenced a young man to 60 lashes after he was accused of harassing a young woman and touching her body, Al-Madinah reported.
The 20-year-old woman filed a lawsuit against the man, accusing him of touching her private parts as she was on her way out of her house. When she shouted for help, he escaped. The girl noted his car plate number and complained to authorities. The man’s family offered SR20,000 to drop the case, but the girl’s family refused.
