Please Come Forward Collectively :High Commissioner

Dear Pakistani-Kiwi Community Members!

I need not to emphasise, that the Christchurch earthquake calamity is the “worst tragedy” of New Zealand. At these challenging times, the New Zealand as a country and a society is overwhelmed with the devastation this catastrophe has brought about.

I am aware that the Community members in their individual capacity are doing all what they can to assist the Christchurch community and families to recover from this disaster.

I would request and urge all the community members to please come forward collectively to share the woes of the affected people and provide a much needed helping hand. The two best possible ways could be to contribute generously in earthquake fund and volunteer your time to help your neighbours, community and especially, infirm, who need assistance the most in these trying times.

It is time for all of us to come together and assist the people who need the help the most.  I would once again urge the Christchurch community members to please be a part of the volunteering and get counted.

Yours sincerely,

(Syed Ibne Abbas)
