Please inform about your welfare

Dear fellow Pakistanis,  Asslam-e-Alaikum,

I learnt with shock and anguish the news of yet another disastrous earthquake that struck Christchurch few hours ago.

I have spoken to some of the Pakistani-Kiwi community members to enquire about their and families welfare. Alhamdollilah, so far, no fatality of community member has been reported from Christchurch or surrounding areas.

As telephone lines are clogged, hence, connections are problematic. I am sending this e-mail to assure members of our community of our solidarity in this tough time. Kindly update us by return e-mail or following telephone numbers: 04-4790026, 4790027, 4790043 and fax No. 04-4794315, about your family and other Pakistani community members welfare.

We shall be glad to render any assistance which you may require during these challenging times.

On behalf of the High Commission, staff and my own, I pray to Allah to keep you safe from this calamity and give you strength to cope with this catastrophe and recover from the aftermath of this natural disaster.
                                                                                                       Yours sincerely,

                                                                                                    (Syed Ibne Abbas)
