Haka

Once it is said if you have not seen Lahore you have not been born. Just like that. If you live in New Zealand and dont know about haka you are not very genius

HAKA is basically a war dance in other world a challenge to your opponent .There are too many HAKAs are out there every tribe has its own HAKA .But the most famous HAKA is All Blacks HAKA which they perform before every match in front of their opponent .called Ka Mate, was composed about 1820 by Te Rauparaha , paramount chief of Ngati Toa. The words are:

 

Ka Mate Ka Mate! KA ora! Ka ora!(twice)

 

I die! I die! I live! I live!

 

Tenei te tangata puhuru huru

 

This hairy man .

 

Nana nei I tiki mai

 

Who fetched the sun

 

Whakawhiti te ra

 

And cause it to shine again

 

A upa .ne! Ka upa ne.

 

One up ward step! An other up ward step!

 

A upan kaupane whiti te ra

 

An upwards step, an other upwards step.the Sun shine
