CHAKWAL APRIL 24.  Tehsil Naib Nazim Chakwal Malik Altaf Hussain Dharukna resigned on Wednesday from his office and he submitted his resignation before Tehsil Nazim Chakwal Amir Khan Bhatti.  In his written resignation Malik Altaf Hussain was of the view that due his domestic and business occupation he is not in position to give proper time to the office therefore he is reluctant continue the office.  However the political circles feels that the motive behind this resignation was the shifting of two wagon stands into the Chakwal City from the General Bus Stand owned by Tehsil Municipal Administration.  The two wagon stands were owned by former Federal Minister Lt. General ® Abdul Majeed Malik and Ex-MPA Ch: Liaqat Ali Khan and due to this shifting the General Bus Stand of TMA was deprived of the annual income of rupees 8 millions.  The Naib Nazim was failed to protect the interest of TMA because he belongs to the General Abdul Majeed group.  The other source claimed that he had developed difference with Tehsil Nazim Amir Bhatti as in retaliation Amir Bhatti had sanctioned a halting point (mini wagon stand) in front of Alliance Travels owned by the son of General Abdul Majeed Malik and Naib Nazim Malik Altaf Hussain resisted but Tehsil Nazim did not agree with Naib Nazim therefore Naib Nazim submitted his resignation. 
CHAKWAL APRIL 24. International scholar and renowned lawyer Brigadier ® Kh: Tariq Mehmood spent a busy day on Wednesday in Chakwal.  Brigadier Tariq Mehmood meet the president of District Bar Chakwal Pirzada Noor Ali Shakoori and chamber for practice in District Chakwal was allotted to Brigadier Kh: Tariq Mehmood.  Tariq Mehmood also had a meeting with District and Session Judge Chakwal Ch: Riaz Mehmood and discussed him for the matter of bar and judiciary and there relationship in District Chakwal.  Brigadier Tariq Mehmood then visited the famous Chakwal Grammar School which was established last year with the cost of rupees 10.5 millions by the local industrialist Kh: Muhammad Javid Chairman of Chakwal group of industries.  Principal of Chakwal Grammar School Professor Hamid-Ullah Hashmi briefed about the working of Chakwal Grammar School and he told that only 1-1/2 year Grammar School had strength of more then 250 students.  He told that all the educational staff was recruited and they were paying more than rupees 10,000 monthly salary as well as free accommodation and travelling facilities to the staff. 
CHAKWAL APRIL 24.  Additional District and Session Judge Chakwal Syed Akhlaq Ahmad was promoted to District and Session Judge and transferred from here and appointed as an OSD in Lahore High Court.  Mr. Hassan Mabroor Kiani was appointed new Additional District and Session Judge Chakwal.  He also served here as a Senior Civil Judge Chakwal.  In the meantime Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Masood Hussain was delegated the power of Ist class judge to him by the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court.
