Gonna be banifitial for our community. BillaG proposed that we know where majorities of us gonna vote so why not we invite that party which we are votng for and we should lobby for them I mean labor party.most of the particpent of meeting were reluctant to invite any party to show our effiliation to any party.my point is this, If majaoty  are going to vote for labor then why hide it.

below was my proposal   PANZ planning to organize an Election Forum on Saturday 3rd September 2005 VENUE: ???????. PANZ organizing an open political forum on New Zealand Parliamentary general election 2005.We are inviting local Press , electronic media and leaderships of the all major political parties to come and speak on their coming election agendas. .All Pakistani community members and leaders of the other ethnic groups are invited to attend the meeting and express their feeling and views in the presence of the political leadership of this country. One representative from the each group like Business People, professionals, Students, Women and scholars will get opportunity to speak on the stage. Later on, question answer session  Almost 4,000 Pakistani origin people are residing over the island and major community is living in Auckland. Most of the Pakistani people have modern approach and fully integrating with the local social, economic and political system. We see our effective role in coming election. Beside our own community, Pakistan being front line struggler against violent extremism have earned impressive support on different issues from international community, which could effect on general opinion of the other South Asian origin Muslim communities. This forum will provide an opportunity to the community to introduce and exchange thoughts with all leaders of local political parties and develop a good understanding with them. PANZ being host of the meeting wants to be recognized in all political groups. This forum does not mean to support to any particular party but to provide chance to every party representative to speak with audience according to his /her party agenda and policy. Similarly audience will get benefit of the speeches and discussions, which will help them to decide right use of their vote. PANZ will welcome every positive suggestions in this regard Thanks Naveed Hamid President , PANZ

Thank you Mr Hamid  for correcting me, certainly we can not put our Big Day Out on stake for political parties

we should remember that unity is a strength if we invite the others parties and vote indivitually as per our liking and disliking would be no good for the community. We should adopt a unanimous plolicy to vote for a single wining party, instead of inviting others we should invite first our own community to get the mandate and tell them the benefits of unanimous voting then few representative can talk to the concerned party for giving them our demands and ballot status,    in my openion this would be  a good strategy to get more for the community but if we lose our unity we will lose election and community gains.

Imagine. Any Party come in power, it will need the support of some small parties, imagine Mr Peter as deputy prime minister , who wants to expel us from NZ , and he is the one, who is telling us how to say our preyers, to eliminate his moves we have no choice but Labour Party , if Labour is strong then it has not to bow down to Mr Peter on his terms , otherwise get ready for Bullying of Mr Peter as he did to Asians in past

Election,   procedure that allows members of an organization or community to choose representatives who will hold positions of authority within it. The most important elections select the leaders of local, state, and national governments. The chance to decide who will govern at these levels serves as an opportunity for the public to make choices about the policies, programs, and future directions of government action. At the same time, elections promote accountability. The threat of defeat at the polls exerts pressure on those in power to conduct themselves in a responsible manner and take account of popular interests and wishes when they make their decisions. It may look pretty easy , but gathering of Pak community for Labour support was a hard task , even one of the MP said we should have invite PM too , to come this massive gathering in support of Labour Party, it only happened because of Shahid Azad and Fayyaz Mumtaz’s hard work , who went door to door to invite Pakistani people and told them the importance of unity and involvement of Pak community in political arena, at least we are as Pak community, may be not much ,but, a recognised and alive community among other communities, what more we have Pakistani MP Ch Ashraf out there in parliament, Mr decoder, do you think it is easy to get to Parliament, NO, its not, it takes life time commitments loyalty to the Party, but it is game for those who work hard and we think Shahid Azad and Fayyaz Mumtaz fit’s the criteria As you said BillaG is good for ha ha ha , at least he is good on something , a picture speaks thousand words      GM is a generous man of our community as he has proved it by offering food on Pak Labour day There are no solid proof that Tarnica car was in National’s head quarters, he can not be as once talking to Sohni Dharti he said he is a true supporter of Labour
