South Auckland Muslim Association [SAMA] is having its elections to run multi million project of Al Mustafa Masjid which is nearly completed , according to Sohni Dharti reports this Masjid is currently run by Molana Javaid Malik group under the leadership of Farooq Khan
It is first time in history of SAMA association that more then 7 Pakistani are contesting in this election
There are few issues “need” to “addressed” said one of the contender , one major issue is forceful dismiss of Molana Junaid, who is Imam Masjid from last serval years , without any notice and any reason by Molana Javid Malik group .[ Rumours reached to Sohni Dharti that’s Molana Junaid is shaking hands with Wahabis and disobey it the orders of Molana Javid Malik ], reports suggest that Molana Malik has already declared his opponents as Wahabi group , when challenged by Ch Imtiaz , who is a contender of Vp in this elections against Molana Malik group , Molana Malik said it was not about Ch Imtiaz , but he is talking about Khalid khan , as elections are approaching fast , Molana Malik group has already starts preaching fundamentalism where shaking hand with Wahabi is becoming sin , if it goes like this, soon only non wahabis would be allowed to entered the Masjid

SAMA My nomination were rejected , by saying that I am trustee of Alhijaz trust while Molana Javaid Malik papers get all clearance ,as he is trustee member of al Hijaz too , I was asked to resigned from al Hijaz , I rendered the copy of my resignation from Al Hijaz , they rejected my copy of resignation , just because it was dated in recent dates , I believe there was a pre plan scheme to keep me away from election . Says Jamshaid ul Hussan who wanted to contest for VP seat in SAMA Reports shows one of big gun of Pakistani community cached some ears as he said " Pakistanis are trying to get the possession of Masjid" trying to stir the rift between Pakistani and other community" Although Malik group won the election but it is a alarming singe that first time in ASMA history some people have guts to take stand against Malik group
