major scientific breakthroughs

If Islam is so positive towards science, how come more or less all major scientific breakthroughs are made by non-Muslims? How come people in the Western world (and some Eastern Asian countries) have invented just about anything you can think of which has been invented in the last centuries?

It is not clear to me either you are asking about scientific inventions or relationship between Islamic Injunctions and scientific principles.

I will be grateful if you can draw a line between these two and let us know what exactly the debate is? So that we may participate in this debate.

It will be interesting debate and needs time as well to furnish all references from historical roots, comparison of religions and then to establish basic links between not only scientific inventions but also to prove that Islam gives direction to all walks of life which is even visible today in all social sciences.

If we limit our discussion only to scientific inventions in recent years, it is true that almost all inventions and thier subsequent versions of development are invented by WESTERN countries,in other words, non-muslim countries.

Even East Asian countries manufactured electronics due to thier stable policies to attract foreign investment and technonolgy transfer. No doubt, Singapore is unique example in the recent world history for maintaining the standards of the developed countries by taking the advantage of trade flow.

Whereas most of the Muslim countries are either Developing Countries or Least developing Countries devoid of technonlogy, scientific break throughs and stable form of governments.
