This is to inform the community members that Trustees Election for different schools and colleges are going to be held quite soon. The ads have already been published in local newspapers for the nominations. As Pak-Kiwis are important part of social life of New Zealand, we urge our community members to consider taking part in these elections and become an important tool of wider NZ society. As our chosen home we all need to tackle the important questions of social integration and common NZ heritage with interest and carefully carved out strategy. Keeping cultural identity and getting along with NZ society are both important to us keeping in view the fact that the future generation is now an integral part of Kiwi Life.
Since most of the Pakistanis live in these places, we specially urge the parents living in Mt. Roskill, Mt. Albert and Blockhouse Bay Areas to take this mail seriously and plan to be in the Trustee Boards of the schools where their children are getting education. If some one of you is really interested please send an email or give a call to us so that some sort of strategy might be evolved.
