14th Aug AAZADI DAY CELEBRATIONS ON 14TH AUG AT MALAEOLA CENTRE MANGERE(panz) Thank you PANZ , this is the one of biggest , batter and bold discission you have mad for 14 of Aug , this hall is big enough to accommodate Pakistani community but it has very poor sound system , please consider hiring sound engineer or discuss with some good DJ because after all sound would be the most important thing for hall of that kind and gathering of this kind
Billag i Panz can hire sound system, The main problem we face always is hall not sound system, Normlay they hire the sound system any way so thay can hire it this time too as the hall system never good any where. Its a beautiful hall with enough parking special thing is its in South auckland and we can enjoy after long long time any event in south auckland as we had some gilay shekway too. Big Day Out Good news for Pakistani community , as negotiations are going on between PANZ and PWCS to arrange and organise a combine BIG day out for on 14th of AUG , behind the closed door meetings are on , PANZ is allowing PWCS 30 minutes for their skits and other musical programs , PWCS is insisting for more time , PANZ should consider PWCS ’s request as last time we have had experience of lake of skits , if these reports are right then this 14 Aug would be bigger and best of all , PANZ have made right move to booked the biggest hall with capacity of 1500 people and big parking
PWCS strongly deny the baseless and fabricated statement given by Billa G regarding 14th of August Programme. PWCS doesn't believe in closed door meetings. I would urge Sohni Dharti to restrain its imaginative powers that may cause misunderstandings or rifts between PWCS & PANZ. H2O……FIRE AND WATER First are imagination with facts , then its become logic, if we work little hard its become theory , most hardest part is, to put theory on test , then many amazing things happen , like Punjabi proverb that “ FIRE AND WATER CAN NOT BE COMBINE” advised me by one of senior member of PWCS , although I am not good with science but I do know that water which H2O , means a combination of Hydrogen and Oxygen, one burns and one helps burning , isn’t it amazing actually it is water that’s burning Pakistani who gave me this information was happy on this combine move , But by PWCS G/S statement confirmed that it is a mix of FIRE AND WATER , if it true then where is the unity, lets wait and watch who is fire and who is water A word to wise is , in fact united we stand …… Credibility! Credibility is this when you get $2000 from a generous of community for 14 of Aug 2005 and for some reason you failed to organized Big Day OUT of Pakistan community and you charge this generous of community $ 1000 for your failure and this not happen to only one generous of community there are more then 6 of generous of community…. This is called credibility , but what you call to other $1000 KHARCHA PATHHA or half dishonesty
To President of PANZ, Very well said trust and honesty , these are very good thing , these are the things what bring UNITY in community, where was that honesty when you were issuing fake receipts just block PWCS way for get donations for Eid Millon , where was trust when you were having Executive oath ceremony behind the closed doors , away from community who trusted in your leadership, yes associations run on trust and honesty and in time information, when we were informed that Mr. Fyyaz khan has left his job a co coordinator , when we were informed that Shahid Azad has replaced as coordinator . If you don't provide information then you give right to public run wild with there imaginations , then questions appears in mind , then how ales can give the right answer apart from representatives of community , you say there are no meeting , PWCS says FIRE and WATER CANNOT BE TOGETHER " If this an attitude of both side then I must say you are missing one very important word in your statement that called " UNITY" As a good politicians and representative of community you should invite PWCS on table if they for give you for awkward act of FAKE receipts IT is you who going to confirmed it or deny it about FAKE receipts
Salam BillaG Unity , very well point out I must say Unity is very important for the comminty but seems Sohni Dharti dont belive in this word and trying to create rift between PWCS and PANZ About Eid Milan, Panz have every right to orginise any function , and for any function we need money which will come from the sponsors,and PANZ never blocked anyone to do their functions if sponsors wants to give money to them thats their discussions and if they want to give money to PANZ thats their wish, and sponsors are not blind like YOU ARE,they see who doing what!!!!!!! We did issue the receipts for collections from Eid Milan programmes but later on we decided we not doing Eid Milan Programme so that receipts was cancelled and we didn't collect any money from any sponsors so where did you get your idea from about the fake receipts.

Height of frustration Years back when I was very new in NZ. I used to work in factory as processor work . We were only two workers in that factory because whole factory was automated One Christmas day our boss invited us to Christmas dinner, in his big bungalow on beech front. , his whole family was there too . Although there were all kind of food and drinks but for us he arranged Halal meat We were first who got there , I surprised that boss lives alone , I asked do you live alone in this big bungalow . He replied NO I live with my dog White peoples love dogs they call it man's best friend and they do justify it even some time they take it to spoiled staged After dinner all were sitting in sitting room when dog started moving in rounds and rounds as he wants to bit his own tail Boss's mother said " Jeff ( boss name) you are not looking after your dog properly if you cannot look after him , give it to someone who can look after him properly . Jeff said " mum I feed him good I give him bath every week , I take him for stroll ever evening , what else you want me to do . " when last time you took your dog to dog show where he can mingle with other dogs ? " asked Jeff 's mother " your dog is showing the height of frustration that why he is trying to bit his own tail ( she used some other word which I won't prefer to use) same height of frustration we see with some of our community member. Like every one have his or her own standard of good and bad but when its come to show frustration some of us are less then dog . because we are superior creature among other we are super in both ways when we go high we demand " KOHAY TUR" and when we go low , we bit our own back end ( even though we know we can't )

Dear Anna Thanks for your opinion on Poster , I liked the idea of Blue .and Green , I asked our poster designer , according to him if we change ground colours then we have to change colours of wording too which is time consuming job , anyway thanks for your suggestions we keep it in our record for next years When you say 1947- 2006 , its mark an era , like beginning and end of life , where Pakistan is a " never ending " story which will end with end of this world

Regards to my stating of such years 1947-2006,I only suggested that because on your poster you stated 59th Independence day,and in most cases the years that marked the celebration or the event is printed,only for justifications of others knowledge but NO Intension of mine to OFFEND you by thinking its an end for Pakistan,as I don't have any right to put an end to any spirit of any country totally out of my capability.But anyway I don't want to drag this any further we only want the best for the community.Looking forward to a great Independence Day. Talking with Sohni Dharti , Naveed Hamid said " it is not confirm yet but hopefully we will get Salma Agha a combine star of IndoPak to entertain us " In answering to question of Sohni Dharti , Mr. President said that " it would be purely a families event and there would no room for KANJAR KHANA but if someone think it is Kanjar khann then I will suggest , they should go and live in Wazirastan In latest up date about Big Day Out . Mr. Naveed Hamid said that Salma Agha has been dropped as PANZ cannot afford the cost . But we have another option , that is son of Alam Lohar if he costs us within range of our affordability. 14 Aug Sohni Dharti congratulates PANZ and its sub communities for organizing such a great function . Whole function was silky smooth, in Big Day messages honourable ambassador of Pakistan Munawer Bhatti shed light on development of in Pakistan where per capta income has been rise from $400 to $600 in last 4 years Prime Minister Helen said, compare to Pakistan New Zealand is very small country in south pacific - She said newly open embassy would be a bridge between two great nation. PM added we are tiny but diverse nation well come people from all over the world to make NZ their home Although it was not professional function but every one in PANZ did tried his or her best to make this function best , hard work of Atta and Mr and Mrs Fayaiz prevailed , Best item of the day was Tongan hula and haka Worst part of function was food which was absolutely far more below then standard, rice were raw, I myself saw red blood leg piece in Sabir Cheema plate, I saw lump of flour floting in so called KHEER only eat able was chic peas or salad Mistake once in an innocence same mistake twice by a professional like Khyber Tandoori on biggest day of Pakistan community rise doubt about professionalism of Adrees, as same thing happened last time when even Prime Ministers wasn't spared One Fijian guy approached by saying that - is this Pakistani food you guys addavertised , he said he is found of Pakistanis food but it was big disappointment . He said if it was Milad food he would happily eat it because he know it not cooked by professionals One guy asked me to investigate if there any behind the doors commission deal. How Khyber Tandoori win the bid while he is on black list of PANZ from last year's Big Day. Sohni Dharti knows that PANZ has spent around $10000 amount in food department Few complains come for city council tickets , when Sohni Dharti asked one of PANZ personality , He said we took all care to protected all cars but we can not take responsibly for council tickets
An extend congratulations goes to President of PANZ and his committee for an excellent function very well organised!Great to see the progress Mr President and his cabinets have put to mark a different year,different style but still the same reason why we celebrating.Myself,my family and fellow community members we cannot have enough talking about how great the function and its contents on the night.From the venue to the outstanding decorations,the performances,not only that but different cultures joined us this year to share with us the meaning of freedom,it was different but also enjoyable.We even felt how organised the programme were I mean we were running a bit late but we didn't mind at all as there was a lot happening.We sitting in the audience adimiring the slogan that was on stage "My heart beats for Pakistan" I mean it made us feel so much at home,with the heart beating with the light how thoughtful!We felt so much at home just admiring it all from the audience.We congratulate the decorator and job very well done.Nothing makes a better show but the host of the show,and I want to say what an oustanding job done by all the hosts..it was nice to see hosts with humours kept the audience alive not sleepy esp it was night time.While we still admiring what we can see..performances started and how amazing it was to see the Pacific island dancers joinning us in such a celebration it brought so much joy to the function. Mr President I have to say you have brought so much into the commnity in your time with all the helping hands surrounding you Nothing alerted the crowd because we were so enjoying all the programme so well organised by PANZ congratulations once again..Even though we were running a bit late but it didn't harm any item or anything to ruin the function..it was silky smooth like brother Billa Gi stated and that is the honest truth..Everyone was happy and we all maintained until the end that shows how good the programme was and how enjoyable it was.The orgnisers for the children were even at their level best..I congratulate the pair in charge of the children programme very well done.The parents were so proud of their children on stage expressing their happiness.To summar this up me and my family would like to say congratulations to you Mr President and your lenders (committee) for an excellent function you made a non professional function become a professional function,and thats because you have done your level best and you've succeeded.So once again I wish you and your committee all the best and we do hope all your hard work can maintain its level and it would be a beginning of a good ending.Like Prime Minister stated on her speech.."New Zealand is a small country compare to Pakistan but if we work together and support each other we wouldn't feel the difference and that's what you have done Mr President for your community,with your hard work you can make a small community seems so large,and nothing couldn't be any better than that. Indian Participant 7. 75 Kids participants stage 8...PANZ team of 5 including President , Vice President, General secretary, Joint secretary, Treasurer General committee members the most active in all fields and management sides for arranging such a huge function, Stage and hall decoration, wel come to guests and officials, Food service to more than 1000 people, Panz stall. 9....1300 community attendees who watched the show and enjoyed. 10...thanks to those 3 persons who filled $5.00 monthly automatic payment forms out of 1300 attendees. 11... special thanks to 100 people who filled th forms for Panz ID card. 12... thanks to Camera men, sound,music,projectors,Media. 13....Officials include Prime Minister, Ambassador of Pak to Nz Mr. Munawwar Bhatti, Mrs. Bhatti,PANZ Executives,Business wing,PWCs, Ch. Ashraf and Mrs. Ashraf. Immigration Minister. Ethnic affairs minister, other Mp,s. other community leaders, Samoan Community leaders, Malaysian community leaders, Media and all those who are not mentioned and attended. Only two complaints were came after the function from two community members regarding the parking and council tickets to those who came late and illegally parked or double parked on the road. Though according to New Zealand laws this is the responsibility of the drivers to follow and obey it and park legally but Panz is still more than happy to further investigate this matter. After initial investigation it was found that these cars were parked illegally. About 5 complaints were received about the food that it was not well cooked, Panz team will investigate this matter. No other complaints were received from the 1300 attendees. PANZ inside hall survey: People have been given choice of 5 caterigaries A. Excellent B. Good C. Not bad D. Not good at all F. Unsure This was the first time in Panz history that a inside hall survey was done by an independent rep of Panz after the initial report (Survey result) 85% of the people replied Excellent 10% Good 2% Not bad 1% Not good at all 2% Unsure About the show About 1300 people attended and enjoyed the colorful celebrations Hall decoration did impressed the attendee’s Sound and music was great Kids were just unbelievable on the stage Stage show was delightful PANZ team hard work was in front of the 1300 community and their movements to the tasks were great My heart beats for Pakistan love free stickers with panz web address given to 650 people Free entry and free food was enjoyed DVD's of the show will be available from Panz office after 20th of August 2006.
