Muslim Leaders from all over the Subcontinent gathered in Lahore for the annual session of All India Muslim League. This was here at Minto Park, Lahore that the idea of creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of India originated. A "Lahore Resolution" was proposed by Maulvi Fazle Haque, which later paved the way for the creation of our beloved Homeland. This was the time when the Muslim India was united. Every one was thrilled by the prospect of having a separate homeland. Great Leaders like Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal, Liaqat Ali Khan & others fulfilled this dream and today we have a great land of the pure for us.   To commemorate this day, Minar e Pakistan was built in Minto Park and the park was named "Iqbal Park". Today, when we visit the Minar e Pakistan, it reminds us of the great number of sacrifices of our ancestors & now its our job to keep it in safe hands till the day of judgement.

The people of Pakistan celebrate the 23rd of March, every year, with great zeal and enthusiasm, to commemorate the most outstanding achievement of the Muslims of South Asia who passed the historic Pakistan Resolution on this day at Lahore in 1940.  on 23rd of March, 1940, at Muslim League's 27th session, under Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah' s dynamic leadership, Mr. A.K. Fazlul Haq moved a resolution and demanded a separate sovereign state for the Muslims in the North West and Eastern zones of the Sub- continent, where they were in majority. The resolution was seconded by Ch. Khaliq-uz-Zam and supported by several prominent leaders and members of the Muslim League party .This resolution is now called Pakistan Resolution

23rd of March It was a good entertaining function with participation of lots of kids and , theme of function was, to give awards to those community members who worked for Pakistani community in any capacity , from Moeen Sadiqi to Lubna Ihsan and Haji Mumtaz to Qazi A. Aziz, about 25 members were appropriated by PANZ and Pak community of more then 200 peoples , gathering of more then 200 peoples shows that PANZ still have deep routes in community . From new generation of Pakistan Miss Tayyba Khan gave a little speech , in her speech Miss Khan shad some lights on roles of Pakistani women during the struggle of Pakistan and emphasise on equality of genders Reports shows that two executives of PWCS were offered awards , but PWCS refused to take any reward from PANZ by saying that they haven't done enough for community so they don’t deserved any awards , it was good gesture that most of PWCS members were there but their refusal of awards have left doubt and speculations in polity of community . PWCS may be still angry on past behaviour of PANZ , when PANZ blocked their way by putting hurdles in fund rising campaign for Eid Mela Overall function was good efforts to bring Pakistani community to gather and it was great opportunity for Sohni Dharti to preach BLOOD BALTI, Sohni Dharti believe that texts messages and Phone calls can’t take place of Smile and LAUGHTER
