23rd PANZ FUNCTION.

First of all let me take this moment to praise our heavenly Father up above for all his blessings. On the 23rd of this month,I went along to the function held at Mt Abert Memorial Hall.To my understanding this was not just any function it was one of the many important functions that Pakistani community have in New Zealand to celebrate any memorial events happened in the past in the Homeland. The function organisation was fantastic, and that would be efforts from the committe members, including the President himself.Everything was in order, good number of the community turned up from Fathers,Mothers, community members and not forgetting the future generation that all communities have, Our Children. The issue I want to put forward in this letter or I want to address,is the lack of decipline of the children during the function. And let me point this out and make it very clear that it wasn't the children that really caught my eyes,it was the Mothers (females)how they behaved during the function,5% of the female at the function paid attention to all the speeches and what was taking place. It was so surprising how they were just all talking to one another God knows what they were talking about but what I want to ask is "What respect do the females of the community have or where is the appreciations for what others have put together?"Why am I asking? because not only that there's always a lack of respect but we have to remember that the children are the future or they are the next generation to inherit our culture, religion, and you (mothers)might never know that if you teach your little boy or little girl to behave and observe the goodness from elders one day him or her will turn out to be the President of PANZ or represent your country in any goverment level. But this all depends from you Mothers. Please us Mothers have to prioritise whats important in the future for our children, but I won't disrespect your role and tell you how to bring up your children, that's totally your responsibilities..The main issue I wanted to address was the Mothers behaviours,I mean it shows that you (mothers)don't appreciate the efforts and time that members put together to celebrate any events in the community. You have to remember that anytime spent from any committee members is very VITAL, but this is to show how much they are so proud being a Pakistani, where ever they are, they still know where they belonged. And this is not the first function I've attended, but same thing happened again last Thursday and to me personally its very annoying, eye catching, and last but not least very DISRESPECTFUL.Please I don't mean to post this letter to have some sort of negative outcome,if you read this with a very understanding and clear mind, then the only thing you (mothers)will do is change the behaviours during functions,Listen with an open mind,"Because any speeches or speakers at any functions are turning points or learning factors in life,"After all we are all still learning".
God Bless You All
