Pakistan Association of New Zealand records a protest against the remarks made by Paul Henry about our Governor General.
 
It has raised many questions in the minds of our people that all our children born here will be able to call themselves New Zealanders
and also needs a clarification from  Mr Henry that who does he considers a New Zealander. All pakeha population looks to be British and europen
and  the only people who migrated or discovered New Zealand are Maories.
 
So we are now confused in our minds that what is the definition of a New Zealander?
 
This discussion is contrary to our National pride and recognition. We at Pakistan Association must pay our respects to all New Zealanders who have been so receptive,friendly,helpful and  loving that we feel proud of being New Zealanders. Our loyalities are unquestionably and undoubtedly with New Zealand.
 
We request that that such people must not be allowed to be on air.
