Jahangir Khan

PALMERSTON NORTH: Egypt’s Omar Mossad defeated second seed Pakistani Aamir Atlas, in first semifinal of the World Junior Squash Championship at Palmerston North in New Zealand on Friday.

Atlas was the lone Pakistani to qualify for the semi-finals of individual event of the championship.

Third seed Egyptian Omar Mossad beat Aamir Atlas 9/1, 9/5 and 9/7 to qualify for the tournament’s final.

Two other Pakistanis Yasir Butt and Farhan Mehboob earlier lost their quarterfinal matches to their Egyptian rivals.

Super star Jahangir Khan is in NZ as chief guest of this tournament, Jhangir khan who is very close relative of Munawar Khan executive of PWCS, he will stay a night with Khan family before leaving for Pakistan,
