The Dorothy Winstone Centre The Dorothy Winstone Centre theatre was built in 1988 on Auckland Girls' Grammar School's beautiful central-city campus. Designed by respected Jasmad architect, Ivan Mercep, the theatre has good acoustics and sightlines and is very accessible to both hirers and patrons. Surrounded by established trees, close to Ponsonby and Karangahape Road's exciting shopping, dining and nightlife areas, its central location makes it an excellent choice both as a performing and conference location. There is excellent free parking in the school grounds, plenty of accommodation close by, as well as easy access to public transport. The theatre itself has a 791 tiered-seating auditorium. The stage is a sprung rimu stage covered with a black vinyl floor suitable for many purposes.

Talking with Sohni Dharti on Phone from Australia , former VP and G/sec of Pakistan association of NZ, Yaqoob Bhatti , told Sohni Dharti that he is stunned by seeing the advertisement on Sohni Dharti and feel sorry for PANZ who has done nothing about it, Mr Bhatti said, 14 of Aug is PANZ first right but if PANZ does not want to do it on 14 of Aug then event is open for every Pakistanis, Mr Bhatti said it is illogic for PWCS to do such a function with out PANZ participation, on 14 of AUG , Mr Bhatti said PANZ is a elected association on other hand PWCS is group of few people who want to shine their political shops and wants to tread on Pakistan name and PANZ rights , Mr Bhatti added his heart cry out that elected body of more then 100 people is doing nothing apart from fruitless meetings, in these circumstances PANZ has to think fast and act fast too
PANZ WILL CELEBRATE 14TH AUGUST INDEPENDENCE DAY OF PAKISTAN. In today’s date we are seeing two big groups of Pakistani community facing against each other on one of the most sacred day of Pakistan history , we might have more3000 Pakistanis in Auckland, this would be great division in Pakistani community , we can afford two or thee functions in Aug but two functions on 14 of AUG ! can we afford it? Why our leaders are making it matter of ego, in best interest of community why not both groups sit on table and sort this matter out so community won’t get hurt , this is the time executives can play their role to get these people on table , once they would be on table, we hope problem can be resolve, if both parties are agree, we can press executives to arrange meeting,

Last night a panel of Sohni Dharti met with executives of Pakistan community on Sabir Cheema’s place, to get executives views on current affair and to get possible solutions of Jashn e Azadi , after a lot of discussion, it seems that there is no problem to a combine function on 14 of Aug as ZEB KHAN one of executive said “PANZ will do celebrate Jushn e Azadi as we always do†“we are in middle of negations with PWCS as soon as we will get to some conclusion we will deliver good news InshaALLAH†Sabir Cheema said “we are willing to cooperate in every way , to keep the community uniteâ€
Talking on phone from Hamilton Ch Anwar Javaid , president of Pakiwi friendship told Sohni Dharti that he welcome PWCS decision, of 14th of Aug function ,Mr Javaid said he consider PWCS has saved the day by booking of hall and invitation to PM in right time, on other hand PANZ still looking for suitable hall, He added if PANZ will do the 14th of Aug on same day that would be a big clash in community

Thank you for youe comments regarding 14th Aug, But to be honest you have no right to interfere in the matters which are already on table and we are talking on it therefore unless any decision has made I request all even PANZ members not to touch this matter. 1....Your comments about the Hall, Last year the hall capicity was 700 which was not enough and 1200 people attended this year though PWCS booked a Hall but for 791 people only therefore we do not want to repeat mistakes The Hall is not the matter PANZ programe for 14th Aug was in process, We had made teams, and subcommitees for this purpose, We were arranging programe for 14th Aug on very high level there fore unless we reached to an agreement and we finalise that how many are expected to attend before that Its make no sense to book the Hall. Coming 14th of Aug would be the biggest ever in NZ, reports coming to Sohni Dharti suggests that PWCS has entered in to Phase 3 , which includes rehearsals of skids , practice of dances, and coordination of music with artists, while 14th Aug is only 7 weeks away, we are still confused as efforts about compromise between PWCS and PANZ are taking us on where

What Sub Committee have been doing from last two months, are they still valid? Was there any next meeting? We believe PANZ had very busy schedule in last month due to President’s visit, may be PANZ would have tried to contact PWCS, which according to my information PANZ did, this all was in informal way, PANZ should have come on Sohni Dharti to tell there part of story so we all know who is using the delaying tactics, things gets more complicated when you starts keep secret from public, remember a well informed public decide right , Although PANZ is very late, Sohni Dharti wish PWCS and PANZ all the best PANZ have decided to appoint a Sub Committee to help PANZ in coordinating the President Visit preparations and 14th August Pakistan Independence day. The committee will also look into the possibilities of working together with PWCS with respect to 14th Aug programs.
The Sub Committee members appointed are as follows.
Ch Mazhar, Imtiaz.R.khan, Haroon Ahmad, Zeb Mohammad, sabir Cheema, Mateen Siddiqui, Waqar Ali, Nadeem Ashraf, Javed Malik, Fayaz Khan and Naveed Hamid.
The next meeting of this committee will be on Sunday to further the discussions.

I am sorry to answer Sohni Dharti call for “Combine Program”, we are willing to do a combine program and we are willing do to further negotiations with PWCS on combine program, our doors are open and I have contacted four time to stay in touch with PWCS regarding this matter, every time President of PWCS says our application is on table and here we have only four weeks to arrange a lot of things, said President of PANZ , Naveed Hamid , Updating the 14th of AUG Mr President said , we are in phase 2 of 14th Aug now, although time is short but we are right on our track to make this program memorable for Pakistani community, all the invitations are gone to nobilities of NZ Govt and other communities, Mr president said I have had a meeting with area commander of police to discussed the security measured for this big gathering plus we are arranging our own security to look after the car park Mr President added that this would be big program ever and first of its kind because one Pakistani super star female singer is coming from Pakistan to entertain on Big Day Out, he added if PWCS come and join hands with PANZ this program can see the new heights About hall Mr President said hall is big enough to accommodate 1000 people and we will try our best , not to repeat mistakes of past Get Ready For Party

In a telephone conversation with Sohni Dharti , Prsident of PANZ , Naveed Hamid told that PANZ has completed its phase 3 of collecting money from generous of Pakistan community and now PANZ is heading toward phase 4 , where PANZ is doing all the rehearsals , Mr President said , I am confident of PANZ team work and hope we will not repeat the mistake of last function, Mr President added that no function is error free but me and my team will do our best to deliver a memorable function of Big day out of Pakistani community , answering a question he said Prime minister office has not confirm yet , but he is positive that PM will spare some time for Pakistani community, Mr President said big news of day is arrangements of food and preparations. Dear Billa.G Thank you for the detailed statement about Mr Bhatti(x- V.p and G.s PANZ). I am agree with you. Mr Bhatti served for this community, i think the jobs he done were just to help who were helpless. I think that its a great decision of PANZ President Naveed Saheb to invite Mr Bhatti with suggestion as he offreed himself earlier. Mr. Bhatti has a wellknown history, We will remember his khidmat for the community. I remember his pak flags in the cricket matches, Cricket on the cinema, 14th aug, and helping refugees. Thats the reason Billa G. when we say PANZ should be doing all these not some individuals? Because of a small mistake of individuals from south auckland now our whole community is blamed for this. I think billa g you should make a call to those responsible and tell then to send a written apology letter to Mat. His reply should be paste on sohni dharti. Last night after Dua , Sohni Dharti put this question to the Exec of PWCS , Munawar Khan, According to Mr Khan this is an exaggeration from Mr Matt Robson, we could not inform Mr Robson in written, because it was Naveed’s responsibility to inform Mr Robson in writing when he was an activist for PWCS, anyway we did inform Mr Robson on 14th Aug morning that function has been cancelled. Mr Khan said that Naseer Ahmid is misleading community by issuing this kind of statements, just to score some numbers in eyes of Mr Rob son Party
In telephone conservation with Sohni Dharti , Munawar Khan said it is a miss understanding that Mr Naveed name is there on Sohni Dharti, certainly it was not Mr Naveed responsibility, when Sohni Dharti asked then whose responsibility is this, he said it is simply a documentation Error
