Meeting with the foreign Minister of Pakistan Mr Khurshid Kasuri saheb:
Panz meeting was held with Mr Kasuri the Foreign Minister of Pakistan 6 members attended the meeting President Mr Sohail Khan, G.Sec Imtiaz khan, Finance sec Haroon Ahmad and Executives Mateen Siddiqui, Zeb Mohammad, Sabir Cheema.
G.Sec Imtiaz Handed over a brief intro of Pakistani community in Auckland, and PANZ.
Which include introduction and history of PANZ in New Zealand. Constitution and work as well as the Pakistani population in Auckland, Minister was informed that 90% of Pakistanise are living in Auckland.
After this the issues were discussed which were include.
Working Status Restoration of New Zealand Consulate Gen inKarachi.
Establishment of Pakistani consulate office in Auckland.
To Resolve the postal problems courier return etc. from pakistan High Commission in Canberra. Also the method of Payment to be considered so creidt cards payments can be accepted by the high commission.
Relexation in international stident visa policy for pakistanise coming to NZ>
Build up Pakistan,s image in New Zealand.
At this moment PANZ G.S Imtiaz handed over the cartoon published by Manukau courier about the image of Pakistan Bankak visa office closed.
G.sec imtiaz Khan had a one to one meeting with the High Commisionar of Pakistan Mr Babar Malik.
In this meeting many issues were discussed.
The high commisioner said that we all Pakistanese should be United on one platform to build the image of Pakistan oversease, they balso discussed the President on coming visit to Auckland, The G.s also made a request for public meeting with the President in Auckland. Which was accepted PANZ has started their arrangements for this meeting.
