In conversation on Phone with Sohni Dharti , Mateen Saddiqi Executive of Pakistani association , told Sohni Dharti that with in next 8 weeks he and his colleague Executives are going to call AGM, Mr Saddiqi said , he is looking for suitable hall for this meeting , he said they will give enough time to PANZ members for renewal of memberships and Any Question, or if any member wants to make any amendments in constitution of PANZ , every suggestion must come in written and should reached PANZ desk well before two weeks of AGM , we will advertise it on Sohni Dharti or E Mails to members , so members can prepare themselves for discussion on submitted suggestions, and ONLY members will be allowed to take part in discussions and ONLY members would have the right to vote for any change
Mr Saddiqi added, at the end MEMBERS of PANZ will chose their new Executives for next 3 years, so if any one interested , they should starts there home work now

A Page from Costitution THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. The Executive Committee shall consist of 3 persons. Who are Pakistani and holds NZ Citizenship or PR, with good reputation having no criminal back ground. They should be honest, respected and recognized member of community and age over 18 years. i. Selection Criteria of Executive Committee Members 1. In the 1st general meeting of Association the members will elect the 3 members for the Member Executive Committee by showing their hands for support. 2. The current members of the Executive Committee are not entitled to contest in the election of General Committee. 3. If one member of the Executive Committee Resigned or died the Rest two of the Executive members has the powers to select an other member of the Association as the Member of Executive Committee. 4. If two or all members resigned or died then the selection of the Executive Committee Members will be done by calling Special General Meeting. ii. Powers/Role of Executive Committee. 1. To monitor, keep an eye on the activities of General Committee & responsible for long term projects. 2. To evaluate the performance of the General Committee. 3. To ensure that the activities of the General Committee should be in line with the constitution and for the betterment of the Pakistani Community. 4. To lay down a time frame for election for the PANZ General Committee, no sooner then 24 months from the last election and not later than 25 months from the last elections. 5. Act as a neutral election commission and hold free and fair election in given time frame. 6. Take control of the administrative and legal issues of PANZ i.e Registration, filing of accounts to the Registrar of Companies, ensuring mail box are current and paid. 7. Take over the charge of all other matters e.g banks accounts etc at least 15 days before the election from the existing body and handover to the new elected body not later then 15 days after election. 8. Ensuring that the Oath Taking ceremony will take place with in 10 days of the election date. 9. In the event of General Committee being un-constitutional, the Executive Committee will give a written notice to them signed by all three members and seek a written reply from the General Committee. Only after three such notices with at least 2 weeks interval they would have the right to dissolve the General Committee or if all the members of Executive Committee are agreed that the reply from General Committee is unsatisfactory, they would have the right to dissolve the General Committee and call for new elections within two months time. 10. The Day to Day running of PANZ would not be the responsibility of Executive Committee. 11. The tenor of the Executive Committee is for 3 years and after completion of its tenor the members of Executive committee should get the endorsement in the General Meeting for next term. If they fail to get endorsement an other member will be elected through procedure written above in point 4(a)i-1

The threat of defeat at the polls exerts pressure on those in power to conduct themselves in a responsible manner and take account of popular interests and wishes when they make their decisions.

Thanks Mr Tauqir It would be hard to abolish executives just with by the movement of pen , proper way is voting by members in AGM if anyone wants any thing, to add or abolish , must come though PANZ office, if you give this suggestion to PANZ in written they can include it in their agenda to discuss it on AGM day , and by the power of vote we can make the change In Sohni Dharti analyses , it would be a bad day for present PANZ, if people will come in power , who don’t like Pak Kiwis in PANZ , in this case there would be more clashes in community and chances of more groups are highly likely, PANZ should take this suggestion seriously , otherwise PANZ might get up by saying “What happenedâ€

We are looking for suitable hall to hold the long waited election for executives, hope fully with in next 15 days community will be hearing the news, President of Pakistan association Naveed Hamid told Sohni Dharti, this is the time for those who are interested in Executive ship to start there home work. Because only members will be allowed to vote Sohni Dharti sources says that one of three Executive, Mr Mateen Sadiqee is out of country, Who is due back in country with is couple of week's At the moment we have three personality, running for Executive ship race Jamshade ul Hussan Choudrey Imtiaz Zeb Khan ( not confirmed )
