CHAKWAL March 23. The Americans and its allied forces
imposed the law of jungle in the 21st century and it
was claimed that it will be a century of peace, love
and without war and the way American president George
Bush had beldoze the United Nations Organizations
which had a very significant role during the past
fifteen years and United Nations raised it voice
against the oppression throughout the world and
condemned the cruel country which was involved in the
highhandedness.  This was stated by Additional
Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam and
former MNA Sardar Mansoor Hayat Tamman on Saturday in
meet the press program that was held at Chakwal Press
Club.  Sardar Mansoor Hayat Tamman still predicted a
very significant role for Pakistan Government as after
the recent USA Iraq war, USA will have to go to the
United Nations for further consideration and as where
is a majority in the United Nations Security Council
against the USA and Pakistan can exploit the situation
in its favour.  Sardar Mansoor Hayat Tamman urged that
Islamic countries should joined their hands gather as
the American attack on Iraq provided a great in
security among the Islamic countries and especially
Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.  Talking about Legal
Frame Work order Sardar Mansoor Hayat Tamman was of
the view that all the parties involved in this issue
should consider it seriously as without the
politically stability as well as democratic stability
no economic activity would be flourished in the
country.  Replying to an other question regarding the
new system of District Government he told that this
new system has been totally failed as it did not
deliver in the past 1 쩍 year and now the elected
members of Assemblies also shown their resentment in
this system therefore legality of this system has been
challenged and if the Government wanted it to continue
then the local bodies ordinance should be brought at
the flour of the parliament for discussion.  He
alleged that the District Government Chakwal was
responsible for his defeat in the recent general
election as all the resources and Government funds
were used against him and still he secured 77
thousands votes.  He further told that during his past
five general election the polling percentage in his
constituency was never more then 50 percent but on
10th October the polling ratio in his constituency was
59 percent and these 9 percent votes that were 33,000
in numbers was the main cause of his defeat.  Sardar
Mansoor Hayat Tamman in his concluded address told
that the poverty rate percentage is touching alarming
the at 50 percent and the per capote income have been
reduced to 60 dollar per month which is very alarming
and the ruler should open their eyes in this regard. 

CHAKWAL March 23. A middle aged jobless person
murdered his wife at Village Jabair Pur some
five-kilometer from here and then got himself
seriously wounded with knife.  According to details
Manzoor Hussain who were disabled was jobless from the
past one year and he had four children and he had a
routine quarrel with his wife Noor Jahan  Begum
regarding the lively hood of their children.  On the
day of occurrence they exchanged hotwords with each
other which infuriated Manzoor Hussain and he started
beating his wife with heavy Danda, resulting her
instant death on the spot.  After killing of wife
Manzoor Hussain took out the knife and stabbed himself
resulting some serious injures to him.  He was shifted
to District Headquarter Hospital Chakwal in a serious
condition.  Saddar Police Chakwal rushed on the spot
and after having a postmartem of Noor Jahan Begum from
District Headquarter Hospital Chakwal, registered a
murdered case and started investigation. 

CHAKWAL March 23. Citizen Action Committee District
Chakwal with the collaboration of Aorat Foundation
Islamabad will hold protest in front of Chakwal Press
Club on 25th March at 1400 hours.  Complete solidarity
will be observed with the Iraqi people and the brutal
act of USA and its allied forces will be condemned.
Citizen Action Committee asked the people to assemble
in front of Chakwal Press Club.
