Hot News ( 9th March )

CHAKWAL March 9.              A battalion of Pakistan Army headed by Lt. Col. Reached District Chakwal on Saturday and these troops will assist the local administration to maintain peace and law and order situation during the procession of Moharram. Flag march will be made on 10th March with the local Police and the arrangement regarding the important procession of 7th Moharram have been finalized. The 7th Moharram procession had declared the most sensitive procession of District Chakwal and the army is to the called out for this procession from the past 20 years as tension among the both Shehia and Sunny’s acts becomes high during this procession. SSP Chakwal Ch. Muhammad Zaman also held a meeting of SHO’s of all the eleven Police Stations in which the DSP’s also participated. SSP directed all the SHO’s to have a vigilant eye on the suspected people and special guards and commandos is to be deployed on the important Imam Bargah’s and the mosques of the Districts. The Army will stay at District Chakwal up to 12th Moharram.

 

CHAKWAL March 9.              The Amir of Jamait-ul-Ulmi Islam Punjab Pir Abdul Rahim Naqashbandi in  a press conference on Saturday urged General Pervaiz Musharraf to present LFO in the National Assembly for discussion and General Pervaiz Musharraf should adopted give and take policy regarding Legal Frame Work order. The president of Muthida Majlis-e-Amal Moulana Abdul Shakoor Naqashbandi and Amir of Jamait Ahle-Hadith District Chakwal Moulana Mehmood-ul-Hassan Ghazanfar were also present on this occasion. Pir Abdul Rahim Naqashbandi was confident that the Government should behave in the parliament and it will took all the political parties in to confidence regarding LFO and expected American attack on Iraq. Moulana Abdul Shakoor Naqashbandi and Moulana Mehmood-ul-Hassan Ghazanfar told that more than five thousand people will participate in the millions march that is scheduled to be held at Rawalpindi on 9th march. They urged the Islamic countries to remain united under the umbrella of Islamic blok to face the aggression of George Bush.

 

CHAKWAL March 9.              Additional District and Session Judge Chakwal Syed Akhlaq Ahmad have acquitted all the three accused involved in the dacoity of a car No. AJKB-5566 at a village Mulhal Muglan some two years ago. The accused Abdul Qayyum, Zaidat Abbas, Muhammad Shahzad who were arrested as the car was recovered from them while there fourth co-accused  Muhammad Ishaq of District Gujrat was declared proclaimed offender. The petitioner had an out of court settlement with the accused therefore he withdrew his statement that was earlier recorded in the FIR, therefore the leaned Judge after recording the statement of the snatched car owner, acquitted all the accused.
