CHAKWAL March 29. Two persons including a student
were killed in two different incidents.  In the first
incident a young man committed suicide at Village Sar
Kalan in the area of Kallar Kahar Police Station.  The
deceased Qurban Hussain S/O Muhammad Hussain was
mentally retarded and on the day of occurrence he had
a quarrel with his parents which got himself dejected
and he went out in the farm field sprinkled kerosene
oil on him and he was burnt alive.  In the 2nd
incident a ninth class student was hit by a speedy
wagon at Katas in the area of Choa Saiden Shah Police
Station resulting serious injuries to him and he was
shifted to Hospital but he did not survive.  The
deceased Shafa Abbas was crossing the road when the
wagon No.COK-3190 that was driven by driver Muhammad
Ikram hit him strongly.  Choa Saiden Shah Police has
registered a case against the driver who was managed
to make good his escape from the scene however the
Police has taken the wagon into its custody. 

CHAKWAL March 29. District and Session Judge Chakwal
Ch: Riaz Ahmad acquitted Muhammad Ashraf resident of
Village Fim Kassar of Dhudial Police Station who was
involved in a murder case by giving him the benefit of
the doubt.  Police had booked him in a murder case but
Police was failed to prove the case as the accused had
an out of court settlement with the family of the
deceased.  In the meantime the same court also
acquitted three other accused involved in sexually
assaulted a boy at Village Jabair Pur of Saddar Police
Station.  According to the procesution Sohail Abbas
S/O Raza Ali, Nadeem Abbas S/O Muhammad Banars, Faisal
Shahzad S/O Fateh Muhammad resident of Village Jabair
Pur on 26th October 2002 abducted Mubashar Iqbal and
sexually assaulted him.  The prosecution was failed to
prove the case therefore the benefit of the doubt was
given to the accused. 

CHAKWAL March 29. Dhudial Police nabbed two-drug
pusher and registered separate cases against them.  60
grams chares was recovered from the accused Aamir
Latif, while 250 grams chares was recovered from Rana
Shaukat resident of Village Dhudial.  After
registering the case both were send into the judicial
lockup.
