CHAKWAL, Oct 3: Journalists Community of Tehsil Pind
Dadan Khan came out on roads from Pind Dadan Khan
Press Club to protect against the neglect of Jehlum
Police as Police was failed to arrest the Killer of
Raja Ijaz Ahmed a local Journalist how was murdered by
unknown person some 48 days ago, but police was failed
to trace out the killers of Raja Ijaz Ahmed. The
protest rally was led by the president of Divisional
Union of Journalists Kh: Babar Saleem & Secretary
General Nadeem Raza Khan. The Journalists wore black
bands on this holder and they were chanting slogans
against Jhelum Police and DIG Rawalpindi range. They
were also demanding immediate arrest of killers of
Raja Ijaz Ahmed. The rally after marching various
roads of the city and later on the rally was converted
to a beg public meeting which was addressed by Basir
Khokhar, Karam Ali Chauhdary, Abdullah Asim, Hakeem
Akhter Ali Shah, Musdaq Hasnain Aslam, Profesor Niaz
Hussain, Abdul Ghafoor, Malik Aziz, Chauhdary Barkat
Hussain, Raja Kazam Kamal, Kh: Nasir Ali, Muhammad
Hussain Aqal, Nadeem Raza Khan, Akhter Arian, Kh:
Babar Saleem and Yousaf Naz. A unanimous resolution
was adopted and it was demanded that the investigation
of murder case Raja Ijaz Ahmed should be handed our to
Pakistan Army as Punjab Police particularly Jhelum
Police was miserable failed to apprehend the killer of
Raja Ijaz Ahmed. It was also decided that the
Journalist community of Rawalpindi Division will holed
a sit-in front of Parliament House on 13th October and
Journalist from all over the four district Chakwal ,
Jhelume, Attock and Rawalpindi will participate in the
protest.

Riaz Ahmed ordered a Judicial inquiry against SHO and
an ASI of Dhuman Police Station how allegedly tortured
a young man in the police station, received rupees six
thousand bribe, and he was also put under illegal
confinement and then falsely implicated him in two
cases in those FIR, where his name was not nominated.
Judicial Magistrate Rana Aftab was appointed inquiry
Judge and he was directed to submit his report within
14 days. The victim Asad Ali Kiani lodged compliant
through his counsel and he further a alleged that the
SHO Abdul Ghani adopted inhuman stance against him and
he forced him to become a cock and it this position he
was also forced to walk in a cock position.
