CHAKWAL, October  5: The members of the parliament had
submitted the Performa of their assets before election
commission of Pakistan twice from the last 10 months
and now election commission of Pakistan is just making
confrontation with the members of the parliament and
it is not a good sign and matter should be resolved
amicably. This was stated by state minister for
environment Maj ( R) Tahir Iqbal in oath taking
ceremony of office barrer of all local news papers
association on Sunday at Chakwal press club. The
function was presided over by Chairman Baitul Mall
committiee Chakwal Raja Mujahid Afsar. Those who spoke
on this ocassion were Kh. Baber Saleem, Muhammad Khan
Aqil, Raja Muhammad Javed, Safiud Din Safi, Younas
Awan president and Raja Mujahid Afsar. The welcome
address was presented by Kh. Baber Saleem and
highlited the problems of local newspapers and
journalist community. The minister while talking about
LFO, he told that all the controversial clauses of LFO
have been resolved and the only one point regarding
the uniform is left and he is confident that this
matter will also be settled after the return of prime
minister Jamali visit from USA. The minister further
told that the visit of Gen. Pervez Musharaf and prime
minister Jamali to USA was very successful and
president Jorge Bush and American administration
enhanced the aid of the Pakistan in the tune of one
billion dollars and the positive effects of these
visit will bore fruit in near future and economy of
the country will be improved. Talking about the local
journalism in district Chakwal he was of the view that
it is very encouraging that more than one dozen local
news papers published regularly from here and these
newspapers were highlighting the problems of the
people and it is a good job and assured that
government will support the regional journalism and it
is very important organ of journalism. Later on
minister took oath from the office bearer of ALNA.

CHAKWAL, October  5: A young woman alongwith her
paramour murder her husband at Kallar Kahar some 25 KM
from here and threw the dead body under the debris of
big stones. The deceased Sher Muhammad of 35 years age
was married to Noreen Akhtar at Sahiwal Khurd district
Sargodha some 6 years ago and they were issuless.
Noreen Akthar in the meantime developed illicit
relation with Muhammad Siddique who was maternal uncle
of Sher Muhammad. Couple alongiwth Muhammad Siddique
came to Kallar Kahar for outing on Friday and they
gave sleeping pills to Sher Muhammad in cold drink and
he became senseless. Both Muhammad Siddique and Noreen
Akhtar with sharp edged weapons slain the Sher
Muhammad on a throat, resulting his instant death on
the spot. The accused threw the dead body in a
deserted place under the cover of big stones. Both
came back to their village and when the relative asked
about Sher Muhammad, they tried to hide out the
killing of Sher Muhammad but due to heavy pressure
Noreen Akthar told the whole story. The couple was
handed over to Kallar Kahar police and police are
recovered the dead body of Sher Muhammad after two day
on the indication of the accused. Police registered
murder case against the accused and started
investigation.

CHAKWAL, October  5: A retired honrary captain of
Pakistan Army was crushed to death at Chakwal
Rawalpinid road near village Dhudial on Sunday. Munir
Ahmad R/O village Jhally was going to his village when
a speedy big traler hit him, resulting the body of the
80 year old Munir Ahmad turned into small pieces.
Dhudial police arrested the driver Muhammad Saleem and
took the traler into its custody and registered a
case.
