AGM called on 25th of Feb 2006 (Depends on the availability of the Hall)
Panz G/Body and Executive Body had an important joint meeting at Fin zone last week in which they made the following 7 important decisions.
- An Annual General meeting has called on 25th of Feb 2006, 3pm at May Rd Hall Mt Roskill, Auckland. But it will be depends on the availability of the hall, Panz will confirm that in the next 7-days if there is any changes to this meeting.
- For panz related communications panz group message board will be used until Panz web site is restarted as Panz had started working on their own new website. Vice President Ch.Mazhar will be the in charge of this new Panz web site project. Hopefully it will be completed before AGM.

- Panz has started preparations for the 14th Aug 2006(Independence Day), in the first phase Panz will book a hall and then 2nd phase will be announced. We are trying to book a suitable hall for this big upcoming function by the end of Feb 2006 said the President Naveed Hamid in the meeting; General Secretary Imtiaz will give his report about the hall booking to the G/Body before the End of Feb 2006. Once the cabinet makes a decision on this the place will be announced for 14th Aug 2006 Independence day.
- Panz started work on 23rd March 2006(Pakistan Day) function; Panz will announce the place for this function soon.
- Panz has also decided to extend the date of the applications for Treasurer position, Application can be made before the 7th of Feb 2006 now.
- Panz will negotiate this year’s “Eid Miladunnabi(PBUH)” celebrations with South Auckland Muslim Association and other Organizations. Panz will also announce that if It will be organizing their own program for this great day, this will be depending on the pre-calendar programs of the other muslim organizations in Auckland.
- Membership cards will be printed and computerized data will be made for the PANZ members.

Dear imtiaz could you please briefly describe the process of submission of proposal for amendments in Panz constitution so that it would be great that you will be able to include those proposals in the agenda of the AGM. thanx atta
Agenda is important , what’s in agenda is more important , otherwise it would be a fish market, and agenda should come at least 15 days before the AGM so peoples who want to debate on amendments, can do their preparations
AGM (Agenda) 1. Last One year work report from PANZ G/B 2. Last One year accounts report from PANZ G/B 3. Ammendments or additions to the Panz constitution if any receieved 14-days before the meeting to the G.S ? It is also advised to bring your resolution during the meeting for those proposed changes. 4. Next year (Feb-2006 onward) Plan. For more details on Panz constitution ammendments please refer to the following section in the current constitution. ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO THE CONSTITUTION: This constitution shall not be altered, added or amended except by resolution at a General Meeting of the Association. The fact that any alteration, addition or amendment will me moved and the general purport there of shall be stated in the notice calling the meeting, but it shall not be necessary to sort out the exact from thereof so long as the exact from of the proposed alteration, addition or rescission shall be posted to the secretary at least fourteen days before the meeting. No Alternation or cancellation will be made to this constitution that is in conflict with the aims and objectives of the Association. Hope this statement will clarify all your questions and concerns. If this date and time are true , then there would be two events on same day , it would be contrast with PWCS’s MUSHAIRA

Thanks Imtiaz for clearing the confusion, about date of AGM Sohni Dharti would like to request to PANZ for a little stall of Blood Balti before AGM starts, in which we can collect name and phone numbers of potential donors for Blood Balti which is on 27th of March , Sohni Dharti would appreciate such a permition
