It was very unfortunate for us that two of the local news papers published the Blesphemus cartoons of our Holy Prophet Mohammad(PBUH).
Pakistan Association of New Zealand is Organizing a protest against the Two local New Zealand News papers.

It was decided in a General meeting today at Sunshine taxis office called by Panz G/B.Other associations who are co-operating in the peacefull protest are Muslim Association,Sama and Fianz, who attended todays meeting and decided to go for the protest under the banner of PANZ.
Venue: Sunday 5th of Feb, 3pm at Elizabeth square(CNR Queen st and Customs st auckland city)
All Muslims and others are requested to come in large numbers and support in this peacefull protest.

Peaceful March In response to PANZ request good 2000 brother and sisters of Islam gathered in down town of Auckland to show their anger and resentment against news paper Domain post who reprinted the blasphemous cartoons Time for gathering was 3pm but people in Islam from all walk of life start reaching the down town from 2:30. in half an hour more then 1000 people were gathered , peaceful march of protest starts at 3:06pm, peoples were carrying banners against blasphemy and chanting ALLAH HU AKBER, whole queen St was shaking by the name of ALLAH and beloved prophet MUHAMMAD ( peace be upon him) By the time it reached to Aoutea center there good 2000 people , here Exe of Pakistan association NZ Zeb Khan requested Molana Saleem to address the public Molana Saleeam delivered very good massage of Islam . Molana said Islam is name of peace , tolerance and total submission to ALLAH , Muhammad (PBUH) is greatest prophet of ALLAH , he added insult of Muhammad(PBUH) is insult of our religion and insult of our religion is insult of us and to convey our resentment to media we are gather here that insulting our religion or any other religions is not acceptable Molana Saleem was taking little too long in his speech when told by organizers too cut it short to give some time lady speaker ( couldn't get her name) She said Islam is not about burning embassies or violent religion , it is al about peace, In this whole march Pakistan association was on the front , executives of PANZ Zeb Khan and Jamshaid ul Hassan were leading and directing this peaceful march When crowd entered in outea center someone starts jeer on crowd which annoyed few of community members , police took prompt action and forced this man to move away from the scene
Pakistan Association of New Zealand would like to thank all those who attended yesterday's protest on Queen st Auckland. PANZ is very pleased with the turn out and thank all other communities Paksiatni community, Fianz, Sama, NZ Muslim Association, Middle eastern communites and Bangladeshi brothers who came to protest on their call. The outcome of the protest was great and we can see in todays papers that Incharge of Race relations has called a meating of News papers Executives and Religious leaders of NZ to discuss this serious issue. (Today's Morining local teletext news) The Prime Minister, Opposition leader and Foreign affairs minister remarks were very much acceptable. ( Refer to T.V news 1, 3 and Sunday New Zealand Herald) Other non muslim friends from South Asia and local Chirstian community leadares also expressed their views very much agaist the publication and said it was wrong. (Refer to Radio tarana Sunday 5pm to 6pm, T.V 1,3 news Sunday) On Radio Tarana 5 to 6pm Sunday the debate on this issue was very successfull not a single caller was against this protest but 100% were against the publications of these cartoons. The Polls on the internet also clearly shows the result against those two papers. More then 20 notables of Muslim community gathered in Sun Shine office to a lay out the combine strategy against blasphemy Most them well known Molvis and ulma of Muslim community . Most of these Ulma was reluctant to do the March they were afraid of pubic backlash . Credit goes to PANZ , who took the stand in insisted to do the march in queen st to covey our resentment to authorities and newspapers When question came who will give the speech to crowd everyone was silence , someone suggested some Molana name who was sitting there , he , he throw this question to other molana , other molana to other molana , nobody want face the music, even so called true Ashqanay Rasool was absent, just because this matter was too sensitive for them PANZ executive Jamshaid ul Hassan proposed Molana Salim name , few were against Molana Salim speech , executive of PANZ Jamshaid ul hassan took decisive stand and side if Molana Salim will yes to speech then only Molana Salim do the speech So many ways to leave your love Here is one , a Molana recived this text "ask these people ( protesters ) how many goes to Masjid 5 time a day” I would like mention this to sender of text "ki Mohammad say waafa too ney tu HAM tarey hain" Credit goes to Pakistan association of NZ for Media apologised on cartoons in NZ(PANZ)
