CHAKWAL JUNE 13: Choa Saiden Shah police arrested a drug pusher Iftakhar Ahmed son of Fateh Muhammad resident of Village Wahola and recovered 160gm charas from him while the city police Chakwal arrested a motor cycle lifter Kausar Abbas son of Muhammad Rafiq resident of village Thoa Bahadar and police sources told that various stolen motor cycles will be expected to be recovered from him. A grocery shop at village khan pur in the area of Dhuman police Station was burgled at night time and the valuable articles amounting thousands of rupees were stolen. Dhuman police registered a case on the report of Haji Muhammad Banars and started searching the accused.

CHAKWAL JUNE 13: Various irregularites were found in the food support Program District Chakwal. Aitabar Khan resident of Multan khurd was paid one thousand rupees as first installment but second third and fourth installment were not paid to him and the staff of the Baitul Maal excused him for one and another reason. Aitabar Khan received a letter to collect fifth installment and he told the matter to Distt. Officer Baitul Maal Kh: Azmat who conducted the inquiry and it was found that heavy amount of installments was misappropriated and he submit his report to the M.D Batul Maal and recommended action against the staff involved in this irregularity.

CHAKWAL JUNE 13: All the S.H.Os of Distt. Chakwal were directed to arrest proclaimed offenders in their areas and those police officials who were found reluctant will be dealt strongly and no one will be spared. This was stated by Distt. Police officer Chakwal Ch: Muhammad Zaman Langrial whiled presiding monthly crime control meting at his office on Thursday. ASP Sadar circle Chakwal Ishfaq Ahmed DSP head quarter Ch: Muhammad Haneef DSP Tala Gang Raja Muhammad Hafiz, DSP Choa Saiden Shah Riaz Barkat and DSP leagel Mira Muhammad Safdar beside all the SHOs of eleven police stations of Distt. Chakwal were present on this occasion. DPO further ordered that the patrol system should be made more effective and the supply of narcotics and illicit arms in the Distt. should be discouraged.
