CHAKWAL June 1: A clay Debris fell down on 3 labourers at village Sarklan forty kilo meter from here in the area of Kalar Kahar Police Station, resulting killing of one labourer on the spot while the two others sustained multiple injuries and they were immediately shifted to the hospital. Acording to details Muhammad Zahid along with three labourers went to the nearest hill to load clay in the Tractor. When the labourer were digging, a big clay derbies fell on the labourers. Muhammad Nazir son of Muhammad Ashraf died on the spot while Muhammad Javaid son of Muhammad Iqbal and Wazeer Muhammad Shafi were removed from the debris after hectic effort.
CHAKWAL June1: Distt and Session Judge Chakwal Ch: Riaz Ahmed acquitted a husband and his father involved in a murder case. Kalar Kahar police had booked Shafqat Iqbal and his father Anwar Khan resident of village Chak Misri of Kalar Kahar police Station who allegedly killed Memoona Saghir wife of accuse Shafqat Iqbal on 3rd August 2001 as she had developed illicit relation with Zafar Iqbal. Prosecution was failed to prove the case therefore benefit of doubt was given to the accused.
CHAKWAL June 1: Neela Police Chakwal arrested Muhammad Akhtar resident of village Karsal and recovered 30 bore pistol from him while Dhudial police nabbed a drug pusher Abdul Shakoor son of Manzoor and recovered sixty gram charas from him. Police have registered separate cases against the accused and sent them in the judicial lock up.
