CHAKWAL JUNE, 4. Highway robberies and other dacoity incident are declining in District Chakwal this year as compared to the previous years and decline is more than 50 percent and law and order situation is well under control. This was stated by District Police Officer Chakwal Ch: Muhammad Zaman Langrial on Wednesday while talking to the newsmen. He told that 45 dacoities incident were reported in the previous year while during the current year only 23 robberies and dacoities were reported and 13 challans of these dacoities were sent to the court while the other ten are also traced out and investigation are underway. DPO further told that during the Imam Hussain Chehlum, the traditional procession went through on its roots without the help of Army troops as during this procession Army troops are to be called from the last 23 years to maintain peace and law and order situation in the District. DPO further told that in both dacoities incident the criminals used to come from other districts and the local participation is very little in this heinous crime.
CHAKWAL JUNE, 4. The newly appointed ASP Ishfaq Hussain assumed the charge as DSP Saddar Circle Chakwal while his predecessor DSP Ch: Hanif Ahmad was temporarily appointed as DSP Headquarter Chakwal. Ishfaq Hussain was transferred here from Rahim Yar Khan District. ASP assured that justice will be provided to all the oppressed people while criminal will be dealt with iron hands.
CHAKWAL JUNE, 4. DCO Chakwal cancelled the city stop of Tehsil Municipal Administration and termed it illegal and against the law. It is learnt that the orders regarding the illumination of this city stop would be made very shortly. Tehsil Nazim Chakwal Mr. Amir Khan Bhatti approved the city stop to provide maximum transport facilities to the citizens of Chakwal and he directed all the vehicles of General Bus Stand that is run by Tehsil Municipal Administration, to have a stop in Chakwal city in front of the wagon stands owned by the son of former Federal Minister Lt. General 짰 Abdul Majeed Malik. District Police Chakwal also expressed its reservation of this city stop as there is a danger of law and order situation due to this city stop and it is likely that a clash between the rival transporters would happen any time. Tehsil Nazim Chakwal Amir Bhatti on Wednesday declared that the city stop is allowed according to rules and regulations and Tehsil Municipal Administration will defend this city stop in all the forums and TMA will resist the movement of District Government if this city stop was cancelled.
