CHAKWAL JUNE, 23. Acting President and Chairman
Senate Muhammad Mian Somro has said that democratic
institutions in country have been restored and these
are all functioning properly to solve the problems of
the people and there is no immediate threat of
desolation of assemblies, however opposition should
have to behave positively to strengthen democratic
culture in Pakistan.  He was talking to newsmen on
Saturday after inaugurating Makkah Education System
Talagang.  Chairman Senate further told that the no
confidence motion against the speaker of National
Assembly is democratic right of opposition and if
opposotion also wanted to bring no confidence motion
against him, it is also their democratic right and
these process will surely paved the way for strong
democracy in the country.  Replying to an other
question Mian Muhammad Somro offered himself as
immediator if the opposition will come out with
positive suggestion regarding LFO and other important
matters and the Government did not close the dialogue
with opposition and the doors of Government is open
for the opposition.  Acting President was confident
that the situation will improve and their will be
reconciliation with the opposition.  Replying to an
other question regarding the recognition of Israel,
the Acting President told that foreign Ministry has
taken up the issue and he will propose and recommend
their report in this regard and then the matter will
be taken at highest level and the whole nation will be
taken into confidence in this important issue.
Earlier speaking at the inauguration of Makkah System
of Education, Mian Muhammad Somro was of the view that
quality education is the need of the hour and the
situation like this in the remote area will provide
opportunities for the new generation to come up and
compete with the students of other big cities.  The
welcome address was presented by MD of Makkah
Education System while the problems faced by the area
was highlighted by Professor Akbar Khan Niazi.  The
local MNA Sardar Faiz Tamman also spoke on this
occasion and pointed out various problems faced by the
people of his constituency.  He demanded Sui Gas for
Talagang and a Technical Training College for
Talagang.  The acting President responding to the
welcome address, he announced the establishment of
Technical College at Talagang as Federal Minister for
labour and man Power Abdul Sattar Lalikka approved
this college when he met prior to his visit to
District Chakwal.  Mian Muhammad Somro prays the
efforts of Malik Ghulam Shabbir who invested a
handsome amount in the remote area for the promotion
of education and it is a great service for the poor
people of the area.  Earlier acting President reached
Talagang by special helicopter and he was received by
District Nazim Sardar Ghulam Abbas and Tehsil Nazim
Talagang Malik Tariq Iqbal at special heli-pad made at
Government Degree College Talagang.  The acting
President also inspected the various department of
Makkah Education System and he wife Khudija Somro was
also accompanying him.  Special security arrangements
by local administration during the visit of acting
President of Pakistan.  The acting President remained
here in Talagang for more then two hours.

CHAKWAL JUNE, 23. The re-counting of the election of
Union Council Buchal Kalan will be held on 26th June
at the court of District and Session Judge Chakwal.
The loosing Nazim Malik Akhter Shahbaz had filed a
petition before Election Tribunal / District and
Session Judge Chakwal and both the nearest rival
candidates secured same number of votes and Returning
Officer decided the matter with the consent of both
the candidates on toss and in this process Malik
Ashraf Zaki was declared winner.  Malik Akhter Shahbaz
in his petition alleged some bogus voting in the
election.  Election Tribunal comprising District and
Session Ch: Riaz Ahmad after hearing the arguments
from both sides 26th June as final date and the
verdict in this important petition will be announced
after the counting of votes.
