CHAKWAL JULY 8: Two passengers were killed on Monday morning at Lahore Islamabad Motorway when a Rawalpindi bound air conditioned Coach turned turtle near Balkasar Interchange some 30 kilometer from here. 10 other passengers received multiple injuries and they were shifted to D.H.Q hospital Chakwal. The passenger Coach number LFO3895 was on its way to Rawalpindi from Multan and when it was overtaking a car, the Driver lost control over the steering and the Bus turned turtle. Two passengers the manager of Lasania Hotel Multan Iftakhar Abbasi and the gunman of the Coach Zafar iqbal son of Farooq resident of Lohdaran killed on the spot. The resque15 and fire brigade of municipal committee Chakwal rushed on the spot and they shifted injured passengers to Distt. Head Quarter Hospital Chakwal. Neela Police Chakwal registered a case and started investigation.
CHAKWAL JULY 8: A desperate man murdered his seven year old son while his wife received multiple burns injuries at village Jundiala in the area on Dhuman police station on Monday, 35 kilometer from here. The accused Azhar Mehmood Quarreled with his wife Murium Azhar and both exchanged hot words and in this process Azhar Mehmood gave a sound thrasing to his wife, then the accused sprinkled karosine oil on her and uppon seven year old son Asad Mehmood. He lit the fire, resulting instant death of Asad Mehmood while his wife was shifted to D.H.Q Hospital Chakwal in a critical condition. Police arrested the cruel husband come accused father and registered a murder case against him.
CHAKWAL JULY 8: A Check of Rs. 2lacs was presented to a Local Association working for rehabilitation of handicap persons from Batul Maal Punjab in a simple and impressive ceremony. The chairman Batul Maal committee Distt. Chakwal  Raja Mujahid Afsar was the chief guest on this occasion while president of Pakistan Muslim League Quad e Azam Distt. Chakwal Malik Aslam Sathi, EDO community development Ghulam Abbas Chadar Distt. Social Welfare officer Chakwal Pervaiz Kahoot also attended the function. Raja Mujahid Afsar and Malik Aslam Sathi also announced a donation of Rs. 10000 and 20000 respectively for the chairman of the association IRADA Professor Izhar Ahmed and paid rich tribute to Professor Izhar for his excellent services.
