Prime Minister Helen Clark has accepted PANZ invitation to attend Pakistani Big Day Out on 14th Aug , PM would be in function at 3Pm sharp time, said Naveed Hamid President of PANZ , Mr President said 2:30 to 3:00 pm would be reception time and 3:00 Pm sharp we will have to start the function be cause we can not hold PM for long time, it is her kindness to give us some time in election season , So I request all Pakistani community to be there in time please

Father of all Functions Today more then 1000 Pakistanis gathered to mark the 58th independence day, program started with well organised way , first session was political with speeches of labour leaders speeches most power full speech came from Prim Minster Helen Clark , and most powerful phrase was “ this is New Zealand , where we respect all religion equally” After PM speech second session , which was full of culture colour show, all the preforms went smooth as silk , this is first pleasant experience of Sohni Dharti that a program starts at right in time and finished in right time, Sohni Dharti did not hear no complain apart from shortage of dinner plates Food was prepared and served by Khyber Tandoori , which was true taste of Pakistan, which proved the mastery of Ustad Adris over cooking Mr Bhatti’s Ladoos and Barfi were sweets of the day even PM Helen Clark admire the taste of Barfi All items were good , but dance items of Ahmid Mirza and another dancer I could not get his name were the items of day

City scan....You talking rubbish. Where the hell was you when PANZ was advertising for the volunterrs and paeticipants. You can just bark...can not do any thing its very easy to bark than do. My dinner pass number was 1020. may table number was 10. how can you say that there were 690 people. by the way looks like you were high and did not looked high there was a galery full of 400 people ladies and as per the panz the total chairs down stairs were 820+ 400 people upstairs + standing people its all comes to arround 1300 to 1400 people. Shagufta zia was the great and only singer of pakistan in new zealand she was the star of pakistan music awarded by x prime minister of pakistan. sunny performed excellent, kids performed very well. 1400 people had dinner, and there was still enough food for 100 more, when i was helping panz in cleaning, i think that was the best ever programe of history in new zealand of pakis since i came here in 1996. This was the 2 months hard work of some people, i attended there rehearsals and i know how best they were trying to entertain pakistani community for free. who entertained you. you should appriciate it and stop talking rubbish. and last one is i never saw in the history and buffet dinner for 1400 people.excellent job well done we proud of you.zeeshulove love pakistan
BillaG, Salam Ellai Kum, This is Kamal Shamsi(rcav8or). As per the last message which is just above in bold letters there were more then 800 men who enjoyed great food cooked by KHAYBER TANDOORI'S Mr. Idreas my praise to him and about 400-500 ladies enjoyed food inside which was arranged for them so that ladies according to our muslim culture should be seperate. The only problem which aroused at the time of dinner was that our Pakistani bhaie never understands and they don't want to understand that they should give space to others to enjoy and let others have some space to enjoy the food. They remained near the tables and that's when mis-managment started. Secondly all the consumeables were in full quantity for which I was looking after but people started to use those in other manners and thats when the shortage came in attention in both sides. May I request MY fellow Pakistani brothers and sisters that please as you all people observe que in all the palces or public interest for your chance to come let that kind of behaviour also be shown at the functions when all the community is togeather and show others also some respect.

Last night more then 150 people gather in May road hall to attend Independence day Awards ceremony, most of them were kids some of them were very young and some of them were not very young , who received certificates from sponsors of program, which was arrange by PANZ on 14th of Aug 2005 and from those, although not financial sponsors, but some way they were big help to arrange Big Day Out Award ceremony was good apart from, it was with out mic , and it was hard to listen the announcer on stage , home made food was best of the best created by deferent families To see the Pictures please go to Pictures

It does appear that we seem to be having some hormonal problems normally associated with the time of the month. I am amazed that there seems to be so much hostility on this group. Is it not possible to not shout on the group, ie not use capitals. Commonly known as Netiquette? to put forward reasoned arguments with out resorting to personal insults? I personally think that insults are indicative ones low IQ. restrict the postings of those who persist in reducing this group to an anarchic level? to have good humoured postings? dear countrymen ,this is my humble request to all the glory hunters out there that if u sincerely want to do some thing for the community or for the mankind u dont have to put up a big show for that as says our religion if u do one good deed using ur one hand so do it so quietly so ur other hand would not know abt it, just remeber that no one else but allah can give u the true reward for ur deeds unless u r doing all that for just to gain some cheap fame and peoples [wah wah]applaud.the people r not working with the community association they should rather than pin pointing their mistakes should put their personel grudges aside and join them to do things for the well being of our community.what r we actually doing by fighting among ourselves we putting ourselve down in the eyes of others communities and making ourselves a laughing stroke for the others.now it up to us weather we wanna be united and start behaving like a true pakistani who strongly believes in the what the father of the nation said[unity,faith and dicipline]and put our personel differences aside and stand shoulder to shoulder by other community workers or just keep on fighting and criticising others so other communities can laugh at us.united we stand divided we fall.
