PANZ and PWCS Negociations on 14th August.
Final decision.
A joint meeting of Pakistan Association of New
Zealand, Pakistan Welfare & Cultural Society and other
community notables was held at the residence of Javed
Malik this evening to carve out strategy for holding
one programme on 14th of August 2005.The meeting
started with a back-ground introduction of the issue
by Fayyaz Khan.Afterwards PANZ President Naveed Hamid
gave a short intro of PANZ history and informed the
gatthering that 14 August has always been celebrated
by Pakistan Association for the last 18 years.He
however expressed his total willingness to work with
PWCS and the idea of holding a joint programme.PWCS
President and some other office bearers including
Munawar Khan, and Amir Khan introduced the charter of
the organization and also showed willingness for a
joint programme. In second phase the opinion of
impartial participants was sought by chair-person and
all the businessmen wished that both the organization
should work together so that others might see a joint
face of the community.Almost all the participants
opined that since Pakistan Association of New Zealand
is the representative organization fo the community,
PWCS?should join its efforts and in return be given
its due place in the programme schedule and
presentation.PANZ people favoured the idea and
promised to give PWCS its due role.PANZ General
Secretary also explained that PANZ had announced
holding of Independence day Programme months ago,
well-before the announcement of PWCS announcement.At
this point Munawar Khan Sahib Executive PWCS informed
the gathering that they are withdrawing their
programme and its PANZ responsibility now to hold the
function in its own way and manner.PWCS promised to
help PANZ whenever their services were required for
the programme.There was further discussion on the
issue and participants tried to convince PWCS to
remain a part of the programme.After a lengthy,
marathon discussion the gathering accepted the
withdrawl of PWCS and thanked whole-heartedly to all
office-bearers of PWCS for making sacrifice. The
attendants also advised PANZ to take PWCS into
practical phase of the programme and give them their
due recognition.
Pakistan Association of New Zealand thanks PWCS for
helping in coming out of the crisis quite amicably.We
appreciate PWCS efforts in?welfare and cultural
fields for uplifting the Pak community and we want to
see them an active part for 14 August programme as
well.

I sincerely congratulate the Welfare Society and PANZ for the right decision and it is an honour for me to see the survival of the truth. I respect Munawar Khan and this decision has given me a big relief may Allah keep us one and follow the basic principle of UNITY FAITH & Discipline. May Allah help us to keep the name of Pakistan and spirit of Pakistran above everything. I also congratulate Imtiaz and Naveed. Well done Tauqir
Congratulations to the whole community regarding monday decision but Panz should try his best to keep Pwcs with them for 14 august Programme.may God bless all of us .
PANZ V PWCS , decision has been done, PANZ has won its case in PANCHAIT , which is good news but not good politics, where theses preparations of PWCS for 14th will go and the money and time they have already spent on these preparations, total triumph may feel good to PANZ , but it can be lava boiling under the surfaces, to neutralize this lava PANZ should utilize it for betterments of community
dear pakistanis,AA, I was present at monday meeting which was held at malik javed sahib house.many respected notables were present in meeting.and many were not there.and after a long hot discussion pwcs withdraw from the programm 14th august.and nearly most of us congratulate mr Munawar Khan and his team on a very open heartedly decision.at the end mr javed malik offered dinner.and meeting finished in a very pleasent atmosphere.If we look this just outside and dont go deep into it we can not feel the gravity.I oppose these congratulation words.which are actually not sorting out the problem .in my opinion it will bring more complications to the community in future. because as discused by mr atta and billa g where all the money and time spend by the pwcs stands?in my opinion may be following suggestion can resolve the matter. and LAVA can be cool down. As Pwcs is preparing for the program long time .they must get the reward.even they did not consult with Panz.still they worked hard to organise this program as to entertain pak community on a Big Day.Panz is officialy elected body they also deserve the management of this program.following opinion may be resolve the problem. 1.A Commite of experienced Golden Odies can be set up.which can see the better hall from both sides.which ever hall is better can be selected.and no party will object on that decision. 2. Panz officially can organise the program. I mean that all the invitation could be from the Panz platform. 3..Pwcs can organise and contol the programm at the stage.food can be organised by Pwcs because they have gathered big funds. I again request all pakistani to come forward with more better options.and no one gets hurt by this situation. thanx and regards ch imtiaz
In telephone conversation from OZ Mr Bhatti congratulate PANZ on its win over PWCS, and salutes Mr Manuwer,s wise discission to keep the community unite under one banner of PANZ , Mr Bhatti said by doing this wise discission Mr Mannawer and his PWCS has won the hearts of community , and they can make it twice the better by giving those funds to PANZ.which thy have collected fro community in name of 14th AUG. Mr Bhatti added it not victory of PANZ but it is a victory of community ,who has set the example of unity
