detention of 15 innocent Pakistani people in Italy

Shujat, Burney call on Italian envoy

 

ISLAMABAD May 19 : President Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-i-Azam) and parliamentary leader in the National Assembly Ch. Shujat Hussain and Chairman Ansar Burney Welfare Trust advocate Ansar Burney called on Italian ambassador to Pakistan ANGELO GABRIELE DE-CEGLIE and informed them about the detention of 15 innocent Pakistani people in Italy.

 

Ch. Shujat Hussain told the ambassador that 15 Pakistani had gone to Italy to get employment there through Pakistani Travel Gents. He pointed out the 15 Pakistani persons were working in a Shipping Company but the shipping Company deprived them of their wages and describing them as terrorists sent to Jail whereas they had nothing to do with the terrorism.

 

He further said that Ansar Burney has already fulfilled all necessary formalities for the release of these persons. He asked the ambassador to use his good office for the release of 15 Pakistani people. The Italian envoy ensured Ch. Shujat Hussain and Burney that he would convey their sentiments to his Government and would recommend early decision in the case of 15 Pakistanis jailed in Italy  -indianz post
