CHAKWAL MAY 11. The devolution of power plan is high-jacked in District Chakwal and one way traffic is adopted throughout the last 20 months and those elected Union Nazmeen who oppose the District Nazim in his election were put in the corner and a single pane was not allocated to them for development, however those people who were defeated in the local bodies election are supervising the development schemes and minting money from it. This was stated by leader of the opposition in District Assembly Major 짰 Abrar Hussain Shah on Saturday in his office at Union Council Dhudial. The leader of the opposition alleged that various irregularities, corruption, mall practices and nepotism are under way in the District Government Chakwal and various front man were awarded contracts amounting million of rupees. He demanded that Punjab Government should appoint a high court judge to probe into the mis-use of power and other irregularities committed by the District Government Chakwal. He also alleged that the turbines were distributed among the kith ad kin of Union Nazmeen who were supporting the District Government in the house. Major 짰 Abrar Hussain Shah further told that the house of District Council has become a rubber stamp, therefore 1.1 million people of District Chakwal has lost their confidence on the District Government, therefore people had demanding that the present situation should be rectified so that the great new system of District Government and its importance should be restored on the common people.

CHAKWAL MAY 11. District Nazim Chakwal under section 144 banned the entry of un necessary people in the area of examination centers during the examination of PTC, CT, B.Ed, FA, BA, B.Sc, BBA, DIT and post graduate courses, however roll number slip holders and the staff appointed in the examination centers would be exempted. This order is in-force forthwith and will remain in-force during these examination.

CHAKWAL MAY 11. Nila Police Chakwal has recovered a mouser and ten bullets from an accused involved in a dacoity on motorway. The accused Bahadar Khan S/O Shah Jahan resident of NWFP province was arrested by the Police and during the investigation the accused handed over the mouser that was used in the coach dacoity in the area of Nila Police Station a month ago. Police has registered a separate case of possession of illicit arms against the dacoit.
