CHAKWAL MAY 6. A married woman was abducted from Village Farid Kassar some 20 kilometer from here on Tuesday in the area of Dhudial Police Station. Muhammad Ashraf S/O Gulistan Khan lodged a report in the Police Station that when he went out in the farm field the accused Maqsood Hussain S/O Ghulam Abbas resident of the same Village enticed his wife Nasreen Akhter and was fled away from the scene. Dhudial Police registered a case against the accused and started searching the accused.

CHAKWAL MAY 6. Unknown thieves have a field day in Dhumman and City Police Station and after breaking the locks, the unknown thieves were managed to make good their escape with stolen amount and valuable articles amounting thousands of rupees. In the first incident at Village Panjain in the area of Dhumman Police Station unknown thieves broke into the shop of Ghulam Murtaza and stolen valuable articles amounting thousands of rupees and the same thieves also broken the locks of box of put inside the mosque and rupees ten thousands was stolen from the mosque. In the 2nd incident at the heart of Chakwal City a shop of decoration center shops were broken and the unknown thieves were managed to make good their escape with the articles amounting rupees 10,000. Police have registered separate cases and started investigation.

CHAKWAL MAY 6. Rupees 10 million was approved for the ten different industrial unit in Rawalpindi Division and this amount will be disbursed through loan among the industrialist. This was decided in a meeting of Small Industries Corporation Rawalpindi Division and it was prsided by Col: 짰Aftab Awan. It was also decided that the soft loan will be provided to the young educated people and eight-percent markup will be charge in these loans. Col: Aftab Awan later on talking to the newsmen told that people should come for soft loans to Small Industries Corporation and its branches are in the Chakwal, Attock and Jhelum Districts.

CHAKWAL MAY6. The thousands of employees of District Government were facing great hardships as all the employees are directed to withdraw their monthly salary from the main branch National Bank of Chakwal City. Thousands of employees started traveling from the first to sixth day of month from all over the District and there is only one window in the bank that disbursed this salary. There were long queues seen in front of National Bank Chakwal during these dates and hundreds of them would return back as the clerk told that the time is over. This process continued for six days. This method was adopted by District Government as in the previous system all the Government employees were taking their salary from their nearest branches of National Bank at Tehsil Headquarter level. The manager of the National Bank told that the disbursement is an additional work as there is no extra staff available and they to are facing hardships due to this extra burden. The employees of District Government demanded that the previous system should be revived forthwith as from the present system the employees are not only facing extra travelling expenses but there is also wastage of time.
