CHAKWAL MAY, 4. A thermal power station will be
established in the salt range area of District Chakwal
and a comprehensive survey in this regard was directed
by Chief Minister Punjab Ch: Pervaiz Ellahi, when the
Chief Minister was briefed about this project by Raja
Munnawar Ahmad former advisor to Chief Minister Punjab
and renowned political figure of District Chakwal.
Raja Munnwar Ahmad meet Chief Minister Punjab in CM
House and presented various problems of the area to
the Chief Minister Punjab.  Raja Munnawar told the CM
that Punjab Mineral Development Corporation had a
handsome area of coal in their possession and huge
quality coal is explored by private companies and if a
thermal power station is established here, huge
quantity of electricity can be produced and billions
of rupees foreign exchange can be saved and more over
thousands of people will be provided job in this
remote area.  Chief Minister Punjab Ch: Pervaiz Ellahi
was confident that after the start of Tehmir-e-Punjab
Program through members of assembly, basic facilities
will be provided at the door-steps of the people.
Chief Minister Ch: Pervaiz Ellahi further told that
the members of assemblies will be given a very strong
role and in every project they will be taken into the
confidence.  Chief Minister Punjab also accepted the
invitation of Raja Munnawar Ahmad to tour District
Chakwal and Chief Minister assured that he will come
to Chakwal and announced a big development package for
the District as District Chakwal is a strong hold of
Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam. 

CHAKWAL MAY, 4. A foreign return middle aged person
committed suicide at Village Fim Kassar some 25
kilometer from here on Sunday in the area of Dhudial
Police Station.  Muhammad Hussain came from Labia some
times ago and he got strangulated himself with a rope
and hanged him himself at the roof of the house.  In
the meantime City Police Chakwal recovered a minor
girl who was left by her unknown mother in front of
the house of Ch: Zamurid Khan at mohallah Line Park
Chakwal on Sunday.  Councilor Haji Muhammad Anwar S/O
Haji Muhammad Ramzan informed the Police who
immediately rushed on the spot and taken the newly
born girl into its custody and after registering a
case against the unknown mother and the minor was
handed over to Haji Muhammad Rafique.

CHAKWAL MAY, 4. The Naib Nazim of Tehsil Council
Chakwal Muhammad Altaf Dharukna has refused to
withdraw his resignation and he disappeared from
District Chakwal and shifted to some unknown place due
to some heavy pressure from his group to withdraw his
resignation.  Tehsil Council Chakwal adopted unanimous
resolution and dismissed the resignation of Naib Nazim
Altaf Hussain and the Tehsil Councilors also went to
the house of Altaf Dharuka and asked him to withdraw
his resignation.  At that time Altaf promised to
withdraw his resignation but later on he decided
otherwise and strick to his gun.
